Pressure can be defined as the force acting perpendicularly to a plane divided by the area of that plane.
To understand this concept, we will practice solving the following problems: The 250 gram block has a dimension of 20 cm x 10 cm x 5 cm above the surface of the inclined plane as seen in the picture. The question is, how much pressure is applied by the block to the inclined plane surface? (assuming that the the system is an equilibrium conditions)
