00:00 In Eastern Europe, especially during the early days of Russia's invasion, Ukraine captured
00:04 many of Putin's weapons and vehicles.
00:07 And recently, when one of the tanks captured by the embattled nation went on the fritz,
00:10 a Ukrainian officer whose call sign is Kuchevnik, called the tank's Russian manufacturer to
00:15 get some much-needed tech support.
00:18 The vehicle in question is a T-72B3 tank, the most advanced of the Soviet-era armored
00:23 weaponry employed by Russia.
00:25 In the video Forbes reports, the officer recounts the issues his squad were having with the
00:29 tank, saying, "I am a commander of an armored group, and the problem is we simply can't
00:33 operate it."
00:34 Kuchevnik initially doesn't identify himself as Ukrainian, and that's probably why he gets
00:38 such a positive reaction from Russian support, with the manufacturers saying they would let
00:42 their design bureau know about the issues.
00:45 However, eventually Kuchevnik does identify himself, telling the customer support person,
00:49 "When we take more of these tanks as our trophies, make them better, so that it will be easier
00:54 for us to operate them, agreed?
00:56 Thank you very much.
00:57 Take care of yourselves.
00:58 Glory to Ukraine!"
01:00 Oryx, an open-source intelligence site reported earlier this year, Russia has lost some two-thirds
01:05 of its tanks in Ukraine since the war began.
