00:00 Take me out for some hot dogs.
00:04 All right, we're not far from the Brickyard, the Indianapolis
00:08 Motor Speedway, perhaps the most famous track in the world,
00:12 the oldest track in the world, going back well over 100 years.
00:17 Well, sitting right here is a place
00:19 called Nick's Chili Parlor.
00:22 They have been serving hot dogs for over 45 years.
00:27 And it says, nowhere else but Nick's.
00:31 Well, we're here to give them a try.
00:32 CFK hot dogs live up to the standards of racing legends
00:38 as they're raw dogging in Indianapolis.

01:13 All right, here we go.
01:15 And these are a--
01:17 here we are at Nick's Chili Parlor.
01:21 They've been open since 1974.
01:22 And they've been voted numerous times as the best
01:25 hot dog in Indianapolis.
01:28 Well, here's the hot dog, steamed bun, steamed hot dog,
01:32 kept in a steaming tray.
01:34 Now, the bun-to-dog ratio could be better.
01:37 This is not quite the type of dog ratio we want to see.
01:40 The coloring on the dog has some good color marks on here.
01:43 But the most important part is how does it actually taste.
01:46 There's no snap to this hot dog.
02:03 I think this is pretty much an ordinary hot dog.
02:07 And I'm going to give it a single.
02:12 Now, when you're at Nick's Chili Parlor,
02:14 you have high expectations on the chili.
02:17 I got the chili and cheese dog right here.
02:19 And well, let's see how this actually tastes.
02:24 A very tomatoey chili.
02:40 Not much spice to it.
02:42 I think I'm also going to give this a single.
02:51 Here they also have jumbo hot dogs and foot-long hot dogs.
02:54 We just tried the ordinary hot dog.
02:56 And now we're going to try the fries.
02:57 These fries are delicious.
03:08 [MUSIC PLAYING]
03:11 These fries are a solid 8.3.
03:19 All right, every year, people race through Indianapolis.
03:23 So Nick's is not yet famous.
03:26 You know, maybe after my review, they will get world famous.
03:30 And if you know any other famous hot dog spots,

03:38 Because I'm hitting the road, and you'll never
03:39 know when I'm going to show up.
03:41 I think it's time for me to race off.
03:43 See you next time.
03:44 Keep raw dogging.
03:45 Take me out for some hot dogs.
04:04 Get me one that's only plain.
04:07 No mustard or horseradish.
04:10 I'll know what the dog is really about.
04:13 And it's hope that this is a good one.
04:17 Maybe a home run or a double.
04:20 But if it sucks, it will be a strike out.
04:23 And I'm worthy of my taste buds.
