00:04 >> Today in his press conference, Mike Tomlin did say at this juncture when
00:09 asked if they needed to change who the play calling was.
00:13 Does that mean he needs to see more disaster before he gets convinced or
00:18 they do have their bye week coming up next week.
00:20 So there's no way they're going to make the change prior to the Baltimore game.
00:24 But maybe, I guess if there's a chance it's going to happen,
00:27 it'll probably be next week with the bye.
00:29 I would put that at about 5% and I'm sure there are some who cover the Steelers
00:35 who would put it even lower than that from what I've seen in the media.
00:39 But I think you, I was watching the game on Sunday and I saw the Steelers deferred.
00:45 So Bobby Slowick, the new offensive coordinator for
00:49 the Texans gets the first possession.
00:51 And just his whole scheme was designed to hit the Steelers where they're weakest.
00:57 And to try to minimize the effect of the great edge rushers, Highsmith and Watt.
01:02 And it worked, and then you see the Steelers get the ball and
01:06 it says, well, we're gonna do what we do.
01:08 And we're gonna run the ball through the middle and it's gonna work or it's not.
01:11 And there was just such a dichotomy there of planning and execution.
01:16 And we're thinking about who we're playing against, not just what we do well.
01:21 And it was such a difference.
01:23 And you look at the numbers and they just continue.
01:26 It's like a waterfall.
01:28 The numbers that say that he's not an effective offensive coordinator
01:33 are overwhelming.
01:34 It's like Niagara Falls, what they do at the start of games,
01:38 how poorly they start games, how many drives they don't succeed in,
01:41 how many red zone drives they have in the first half.
01:44 They're all abysmal.
01:46 You can't find a stat that says they have a successful offense, you can't.
01:52 And so the continuing to do the same thing if they had another week
01:58 like they had in Houston, going against a team that they would figure to do well
02:03 against, that hadn't played that great, that didn't have a great defense, and
02:08 still they weren't able to be successful at all.
02:11 And I think it's helping to cause Kenny Pickett to regress and
02:16 to do even more poorly than he did at the start of his rookie year when he got in,
02:21 I think the fourth or fifth game, and took over and
02:24 threw a couple of picks against the Jets.
02:26 He's probably behind that point at this stage.
