00:46 Good morning and welcome to Rise and Shine, Philippines!
00:50 Engineer Esel and Sir Jonas, what are your preparations for the 10th World Shitori Karate Federation International Championship?
01:01 Good morning to our viewers.
01:03 We had a difficult time preparing because we will be holding a world championship.
01:12 Our students trained for almost 5 months consistently, almost 3 hours every day.
01:22 The training they went through was not easy.
01:27 So that's what we prepared for the world championship.
01:30 So Sir, those 5 months were continuous?
01:33 Yes, every afternoon after school, and before we go in, they already train.
01:40 Wow, that's amazing.
01:43 So, Engineer Esel, can you share some details about the medal won by PKL Altigre, Philippines in the competition?
01:55 Yes, because this is a world championship, it was won by about 40 countries,
02:03 and we won a lot of medals.
02:06 We have 2 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals.
02:11 Because as early as last year, we already had an invitation for the tournament,
02:16 so we were able to prepare well.
02:20 And aside from the training we did,
02:23 we have a lot of tournaments that we do,
02:28 so one of their training is to attend.
02:30 So they attend tournaments in Bataan, Norte, NCR, and even in Southern Tagalog,
02:37 last is in Naga Bicol.
02:40 So that's one of their training.
02:43 Okay, so the engineers use that way to enhance their skills,
02:47 here in the Philippines, right?
02:48 So when it comes to other places, they will be ready.
02:51 Yes. Actually, before this world chateaurier,
02:54 we attended an international karate festival in Jakarta,
03:01 and we got 26 medals.
03:03 Wow!
03:04 So it's preparation for this world chateaurier karate doh federation championship.
03:09 So the engineers are really proud to be Filipinos.
03:12 Yes, we are not far from our karate doh techniques in other countries,
03:16 because the participants here are national team players
03:19 from other countries like Japan, US, Malaysia, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia,
03:27 Belarus, Canada, and other countries worldwide.
03:31 Wow, okay. Thank you so much, engineers.
03:33 Let's go to Kiai and Roxanne.
03:36 Kiai, how do you feel about being a part of PKL El Tigre Filipinas
03:43 and winning the medal at Jakarta International Karate Festival
03:47 and 10th World Chateaurier Karate Federation International Championship?
03:51 What are the awards that you got here?
03:54 So, I'm very thankful to Xian Dennis Aquino and PKL El Tigre Filipinas family
04:00 because they gave us a great opportunity
04:04 because it's not a joke to play in other countries.
04:07 And to my parents for supporting me financially.
04:10 And as for the tournament, it's a great opportunity
04:15 to be one of the representatives of our country, the Philippines.
04:19 And the award that I got at Jakarta Karate Festival
04:26 is I got a gold for Kata and a silver for Kumite.
04:31 And for the 10th World Chateaurier,
04:35 I fought against Mexico in bronze,
04:39 and I got a point-two victory.
04:41 And for Kumite, my first opponent was the national player of Chinese Taipei.
04:48 And I was so happy that even though I didn't win,
04:51 it was an opportunity for me and an experience.
04:54 Okay, thank you so much.
04:56 You got a point-two.
04:58 Just a little bit.
04:59 Thank you so much, Kiai.
05:00 Let's go to Roxanne.
05:02 As a member of El Tigre Filipinas,

05:37 It's so proud to be a Filipino.
05:40 It feels like you're fighting against a foreign country
05:42 because you're bringing a Filipino.
