00:00 Hi, I'm Rob Gannon from Hot Rod Magazine.
00:23 We're here at Beach Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky for the Holley LS Fest.
00:28 It's LS extravaganza.
00:31 Every car here has an LS motor in it.
00:35 And we've got an autocross going on over here.
00:37 We've got drag strip action on the track.
00:39 And we've got a show car area on the entryway into the track.
00:43 It's a pretty cool event.
00:44 There's some really nice cars here.
00:47 As gearheads, as car enthusiasts, we've really become enamored with the LS engine ourselves
00:55 and our personal vehicles.
00:57 And we just really feel like it's the new Chevy small block, if you will.
01:10 We're introducing a line of new parts for LS engines, performance parts, dress up parts,
01:16 as well as swap parts that make it easier to put these engines in any platform, your
01:20 vintage car or even an import.
01:23 Pretty nifty.
01:24 The old Goldberg throttle setup with a throttle position sensor is actually over here.
01:28 The cable pulls this rod.
01:30 I approve of that.
01:37 What we see is just guys that would normally not get together coming out and racing their
01:43 cars, using them.
01:44 You know, we've certainly got the show and shine going on, but this show really isn't
01:47 about sitting in your armchair.
01:49 It's about getting out on the autocross course, getting out on the drag strip, doing the speed
01:53 stop challenge, and just seeing what other guys are doing, whether it's an import car,
01:58 a vintage car, or a modern car.
