00:00 Ok, this is our 2007 to current year, 2017 rear spring over stock replacement 1.5 inch
00:13 lift.
00:15 Complements most coil over fronts for leveling purpose.
00:20 This spring here does bolt into stock location which is definitely a benefit.
00:25 No welding, no fabrication, requires a longer shackle.
00:30 A good all around spring, not a weight bearing spring, more tailored towards trail use and
00:37 ride characteristics.
00:41 So we're going to talk about the rebound wrap which is designed to help minimize and control
00:48 axle wrap.
00:49 So this is the forward section of the leaf spring, what we call the stationary end.
00:54 What we do is we take a leaf just starting from behind the axle on top of the main leaf
01:00 going forward and wrapping up and around the existing main leaf securing the forward section
01:07 of the spring.
01:09 Again increasing the spring rate to control axle wrap.
01:13 So it's very proven, it's been used for many years.
01:17 This particular spring goes on a Ford Raptor which has quite a bit of power.
01:22 The truck gets quite a bit of axle wrap and this leaf here does control that.
01:28 So very useful for that reason.
01:32 Okay so this spring here we're looking again at the forward section, the stationary end.
01:38 We do a military wrap which wraps around the existing main leaf.
01:44 If you were to ever break a main leaf out on the trail that would result in losing your
01:49 axle, drive shaft, etc.
01:52 The military wrap would hold that eye in place and allow you to get back to camp or get back
01:58 home.
01:59 In most cases you might not even know you have a main leaf because your axle would not
02:03 change location because of the military wrap.
