00:02 The Lexus LF-FC concept demonstrates a lot of things,
00:07 but most importantly, it demonstrates the future
00:10 of the LS luxury sedan.
00:13 Now, Lexus won't say that right out,
00:15 but you can see in the size and the proportions
00:17 that this car is a preview of what's to come
00:20 in just a few years from their flagship sedan.
00:22 Now, it also demonstrates a number of new technologies
00:25 that may or may not make their way into a production car.
00:27 For example, on the inside, it has gesture control
00:30 technologies for some of the functions,
00:33 and under the hood, there's a hydrogen fuel cell
00:37 that powers the rear wheels, but also drives
00:39 two front wheel motors for all-wheel drive.
00:41 It also demonstrates what I'm calling peak grill,
00:44 and that is hopefully the end of this trend
00:46 of making the grill bigger and bigger and bigger,
00:48 because they've simply run out of space
00:49 on the front of the car now,
00:51 unless they start putting it on the hood.
00:53 From the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, I'm Scott Evans.
