00:13 All polling stations will have minimum facilities of toilet, drinking water, signage, ramp and

00:21 also the volunteers for helping the persons with disability.

00:26 Friends, first time in Telangana, there would be a facility available to all our senior

00:33 citizens who are 4.43 lakhs, 80 plus, to vote from the comfort of their home if they so

00:41 want.

00:43 This is the facility given to them, though it is an administrative exercise for us, we

00:49 have to go for fetching a vote, but they can apply within 5 days of the notification by

00:57 filing a form that is called 12T and we will go to their home and that whenever we go,

01:03 so that their vote is not, secrecy is not compromised, this route would be publicized,

01:10 it would be shared with political parties, it would be videographed and the privacy would

01:15 be maintained by making a compartment right there as we do it on the booth.

01:21 So this is our respect and salute to the senior citizens.

01:28 Similarly, the persons with disabilities can also vote from home, those who have 40% and

01:35 plus disability.

01:38 Here if they want to come to the polling station, which many of them are willing to come to

01:45 the polling station, they are happy coming to the polling station, this is our experience.

01:49 There would be volunteers, there would be wheelchairs and there is an IT based application

01:58 All the persons with disabilities can book in advance whatever facilitation they want.
