00:16 Everything I've bought and owned will totally inspire you.
00:19 And we can change clothes again.
00:20 - Number 10, camping Barbie.
00:22 - So Barbie and Ken set off on their adventure
00:25 to the real world.
00:27 - We don't get to see much of the camping look
00:29 except for a few brief flashes
00:31 during the journeying montages to and from Barbie land.
00:34 Still, even for those short moments,
00:36 we are head over wedge heels for the outfit.
00:39 - Hi.
00:40 (upbeat music)
00:41 - The pink three quarter length pants
00:43 and white button up are cute on their own.
00:45 But the matching pink bandana and bold jewelry
00:47 really finish off the look.
00:49 It's much simpler compared to some of the other
00:51 extravagant outfits in the movie,
00:53 but it's so adorable and feels almost wearable.
00:56 If you were camping with a Barbie dream camper that is.

01:00 - She was always my favorite Barbie.
01:01 - You're my favorite human.
01:02 - Number nine, pastel plaid number.

01:11 - This outfit goes through some transformations
01:13 to match Barbie's emotions.
01:14 And we don't think it's an accident
01:16 that they chose this ensemble to show that with.
01:18 It's very prim and proper to begin with.
01:21 A high neck, a perfectly tied bow,
01:23 and a boater hat make for quite the sophisticated look.
01:26 While the pastel plaid adds something fun.
01:28 - Something's weird today.
01:30 - The accessories are the first to come off.
01:32 And later when we see her at weird Barbie's place
01:35 and she's at her lowest,
01:36 the colors seem more washed out and her top is undone
01:39 so that it looks a lot more casual.
01:41 The shedding of layers is a great metaphor here.
01:44 But beyond that, the patterns and colors
01:46 are just so flattering.
01:48 - I'm just gonna sit here and wait and hope
01:50 that one of the more leadership oriented Barbies
01:53 just snaps out of it, does something about this whole mess.

01:59 These jumpsuits are everything.
02:01 And not just because this is such a pivotal moment

02:05 - One minute I was president and the next
02:06 I was cutting a kid's steak for him.
02:09 - Welcome back, Madam President.
02:11 - The shade of pink, the fun accessories,
02:13 the white sneakers, the headband stereotypical Barbie
02:17 is wearing, there's so much to be obsessed with.
02:19 We have a theory that everyone looks great in a jumpsuit
02:22 because even Alan is rocking it.

02:25 - Oh, what's happening?
02:26 - Alan, go around.
02:28 - The cleanup crew at the beginning of the movie
02:30 have some pretty cute uniforms too.
02:32 It's nice to know that if nothing else,
02:34 everyone in Barbieland will always be well-dressed.
02:37 - All those in favor of letting Barbieland be Barbieland,
02:41 say aye.

02:45 - Number seven, sailor's outfit.
02:48 We love a theme and if Barbie executes anything well,
02:51 it is certainly a theme.
02:53 - Come on Barbie, let's run towards the water.
02:55 - Okay.
02:56 - From the collar scheme to the nautical rope pattern
02:58 to the helm on the belt,
03:00 the details on this one are incredible.
03:03 Not to mention those to die for anchor earrings.
03:06 Keen eyes may have also noticed the matching bracelet.
03:09 The high collar and high-waisted shorts
03:11 give some nice structure to the look too.
03:13 And actually, this entire scene is filled with cute outfits.
03:16 From Dr. Barbie's bright turquoise number
03:19 to writer Barbie's colorful plaid ensemble
03:21 with a visor and statement necklace
03:23 to give it the finishing touch.
03:24 - I had a bad breath this morning, a cold shower,
03:26 burnt waffle and falling off my roof.
03:28 - You're malfunctioning.
03:29 - Number six, preppy blue fit.
03:31 - Don't blame me, blame Mattel, they make the rules.
03:34 - I don't want to.
03:35 - Fine, get cellulite, I don't care.
03:37 - No, no, no, no, no.
03:38 - There are a few different blue outfits seen
03:40 throughout this film and they are all stunning.
03:42 But stereotypical Barbie's preppy and posh one
03:45 is definitely a standout.
03:47 It's styled beautifully with a high ponytail and hair bow,
03:50 bangs and big statement earrings.
03:52 The vivid color does so much to bring out Margot Robbie's eyes
03:56 and the shoes and socks paired with it look sensational.
03:59 Next to the blue and white heart dress,
04:01 it's hard to deny how great Robbie looks in the color.
04:04 How are we supposed to be worried about a little cellulite
04:06 when she's wearing something so magnificent?
04:08 - That's gonna spread everywhere
04:10 and then you're gonna start getting sad
04:11 and mushy and complicated.

04:14 - Number five, rollerblading getup.
04:16 - I feel what can only be described as admired,
04:18 but not ogled.
04:21 - And there's no undertone of violence.

04:25 If there's one thing we love more than a bold outfit,
04:29 it's two bold outfits that pair together.
04:31 When Ken and Barbie make their way to the real world,
04:34 it puts into perspective just how gray
04:36 and boring our world can look.
04:38 It's sort of crazy how quickly we get used
04:40 to the bright, vivid colors of "Barbie Land."
04:42 The neon may have been a bit much for the judgment
04:45 of the Venice Beach skate park,
04:47 but we think it's perfect Barbie couture.
04:49 - What's going on?
04:50 - Give us a smile, blondie.
04:52 - This is absolutely controlled chaos
04:55 and definitely one of the most striking outfits
04:57 from the movie.

05:00 - Number four, gold disco jumpsuit.

05:10 - If there's one thing "Barbie Land" does not lack,

05:15 Fortunately, everyone gets to wear them at some point
05:17 and stereotypical Barbie even sleeps among them.
05:20 Still, nothing quite compares
05:22 to the glowing gold number she's seen in
05:24 during her giant blowout party
05:25 with all the Barbies and planned choreography
05:27 in a bespoke song.
05:28 Show stopping is really the only word
05:31 to describe this outfit.
05:32 And not just because Barbie literally does end up
05:35 stopping the show.

05:38 - It's complete with matching gold heels and jewelry
05:42 and a headpiece that's giving butterfly wings.
05:44 Plus, we just love how it twinkles
05:46 against all the different lighting.

05:58 we knew we were gonna love the costumes in this movie.

06:03 It takes up space, but in a sweet, elegant way

06:07 that are just so reminiscent of the doll.
06:09 If we were playing dress up with our Barbies,
06:11 this would probably be our go-to outfit for her.
06:14 Later, when Barbie heads to the beach,
06:16 we would get a distinctly more summer version
06:18 of this outfit, complete with a heart cut out in the back,
06:21 a sun hat and some apt seashell jewelry.

06:37 Sure, there's the pink and mint striped beach outfit
06:39 and the cutoff denim jacket,
06:41 but none of that comes close to the absolute drama
06:44 of the fur coat.
06:45 Complete with leather fingerless gloves,
06:47 a lightning adorned headband,
06:48 a horse necklace and a whole lot of fringe,
06:51 this look is the perfect conglomeration of campy masculinity
06:54 for a person who just learned about the patriarchy.
