00:27 - Number 10, Batman fights Riddler's goons, the Batman.

00:33 The pigs will have me in their custody, but that's OK.
00:37 Because then, it will be your turn.
00:41 - In a race to save the newly-elect mayor
00:44 and thwart the Riddler's plans to attack Gotham City,
00:47 Batman took on multiple armed goons above a stadium.
00:51 The fight showed off Batman's physical prowess
00:53 and his cunning mind.
00:55 Throughout the fight, he took down goons in truly
00:57 inventive ways.
00:59 But the Dark Knight rose to a new level
01:01 when he injected himself with a mysterious substance.
01:04 Whatever that liquid was, it definitely did the trick.
01:07 We watch as a beastly Batman pummeled the absolute crud out
01:11 of a henchman.

01:30 The fight showed Batman could be an embodiment of vengeance.

01:44 - Number nine, Harley's prison break, the Suicide Squad.
01:48 You can't expect someone like Harley Quinn
01:50 to be locked up so easily.
01:52 While being held captive in the Suicide Squad,
01:54 Rick Flag and his crew of felons hatched an elaborate plan
01:57 to rescue her.
01:58 - Enter through the third floor, go into the inner staircase,
02:01 and then down to the cellar where they usually
02:02 keep their detainees.
02:03 Hopefully, Harley's still alive.
02:05 - Unbeknownst to them, Harley already had it covered.
02:08 She pretended to be knocked out so she could attack a guard.
02:11 After borrowing his keys, Harley mowed down
02:14 every enemy in her way.
02:16 - Everywhere I go, people lose their minds.
02:21 - Her ultra-stylized and ultra-violent escape
02:24 felt like something out of a John Wick flick.
02:26 Just like the action hero, Harley
02:28 showed absolutely no mercy.
02:31 Outside of all the dead guards, the only people
02:34 disappointed by her escape were the squad members
02:36 that came to rescue her.
02:38 - You were going to save me?
02:40 - It was a really good plan, too.
02:43 - Well, I can go back inside and you can still do it.
02:46 - That's patronizing.
02:47 - Number eight, Ozymandias fights Night Owl in Rorschach.
02:50 Watch me.
02:51 - Gentlemen, welcome.
02:54 - Adrian, we know everything.
02:57 - Then what's there to discuss, Dan?
02:59 - Money.
03:00 - While we know Ozymandias was the world's smartest man,
03:04 we didn't expect him to be one of Earth's best fighters, too.
03:07 But his martial arts skills became clear
03:09 when he faced off against Night Owl in Rorschach.
03:12 When they learned of Ozymandias' plan
03:14 to bomb major cities in order to unite the world,
03:17 they were enraged by the betrayal.
03:19 - We were supposed to make the world a better place.
03:21 - Dan, that's exactly what I am doing.
03:23 - Nuclear war, human extinction.
03:26 - Their attempt to bring him became a truly futile exercise.
03:30 Ozymandias was a force of nature that the other two heroes
03:34 barely managed to touch.
03:35 Although Night Owl and Rorschach, respectively,
03:38 could handle multiple goons, their former ally
03:40 was way too much for them.
03:42 And even if they had managed the impossible task
03:45 of beating Ozymandias, they still
03:47 would have lost the day.
03:48 - I'm not a comic book villain.
03:50 Do you seriously think I'd explain my masterstroke to you
03:53 if there were even the slightest possibility
03:55 you could affect the outcome?
03:56 - Number seven, defeating General Zod, Man of Steel.
03:59 - You think you can threaten my mother?

04:04 [GLASS SHATTERING]
04:06 [EXPLOSION]
04:08 - In Man of Steel, viewers got to see Superman don the cape
04:12 to fight the invading forces of General Zod
04:14 and his Kryptonian army.
04:16 This version of the Man of Steel didn't
04:18 have a ton of experience fighting alien enemies,
04:21 but Superman is still able to keep up
04:23 with seasoned Kryptonian warriors
04:25 with his pure power and determination.
04:27 Additionally, he's able to push past his limits
04:30 to destroy a machine that threatened the world.
04:33 Superman's impressive performance
04:35 led to an infamous display of power.
04:37 When Zod was on the ropes, the villain
04:39 tried executing a family with heat vision.

04:47 - Superman permanently stopped the general
04:49 with a beast mode neck snap.
04:51 While this moment was divisive, it unquestionably
04:55 showed how powerful the Man of Steel was.

05:02 - Number six, Bane breaks the bat.
05:04 The Dark Knight rises.
05:05 - This is Castillo's target.
05:08 Victory has defeated you.
05:10 - Few villains are able to break Batman physically or mentally.
05:14 Bane arguably did both in The Dark Knight Rises.
05:17 When Batman tries to get the drop on the villain,
05:19 he's lured into a trap and forced
05:21 to fight the big bad head on.
05:23 He and Bane have an ugly slug fest.
05:26 While we all want to side with Batman,
05:29 it quickly became clear that he wasn't winning this fight.
05:32 Bane pounces on Bruce like a wild animal.
05:34 - Oh, yes!
05:36 I was wondering what would break first.
05:38 - And to conclude the fight, the big bad villain
05:41 breaks the bat's back.
05:42 Bane seemingly cements his victory forever
05:45 by leaving Bruce stranded in a prison
05:47 pit in the middle of nowhere.
05:49 For a terrifying moment, it looked
05:51 like the animalistic Bane had permanently
05:54 clipped the bat's wings.
05:56 - Then you have my permission to die.
05:58 - Ah!

06:03 [GROANING]
06:06 - Number five, the Flash travels back in time.
06:09 Zack Snyder's Justice League.
06:10 When the Justice League tried to stop
06:12 Steppenwolf and the much larger threat of Darkseid,
06:15 their time ultimately ran out.
06:17 - It's too late.
06:20 - Oh, no.
06:21 - Everything would have certainly been lost
06:24 if not for the Flash.
06:25 The speedster decided to ignore the laws of space and time
06:28 and used his skills to turn back the clock.
06:31 - You just got to go faster than the speed of light,
06:33 far beyond the speed of light.
06:34 You got to break the rule, Barry, and you've got to do it now.
06:36 - We admit that Superman was the first
06:38 to pull this impressive feat when
06:40 he managed to turn back time in the 1970s.
06:42 However, Barry deserves extra credit
06:45 because he had just recovered from an injury
06:47 before starting his run.
06:48 There's a reason this scene won fan favorite movie
06:51 moment at the Oscars.
06:52 Barry showed what happens when a true underdog goes beast mode.
06:57 - Your kid was one of them, Dad.
06:59 One of the best of the best.
07:05 - Number four, Black Adam walks through the JSA.
07:08 Black Adam.
07:09 - I was a slave until I died.
07:12 Then I was reborn a god.
07:16 I kneeled before no one.
07:18 - Although Black Adam didn't quite
07:20 change the hierarchy of the DC universe,
07:22 he did a pretty good job fighting heroes.

07:27 was asked to neutralize the Man in Black,
07:29 the team arrived with some truly heavy hitters.
07:32 But not even powerhouses like Dr. Fate or Hawkman
07:35 could keep Black Adam down.
07:37 No matter what the heroes dished out,
07:39 the Man in Black was always able to take the hits
07:42 and keep on going.
07:43 The best moment for him came when he was temporarily
07:46 subdued by Adam Smasher.
07:48 - You want me to keep my head here, right?
07:50 - You better not let him up.
07:51 - Before the JSA could celebrate,
07:57 Black Adam ascended to a new plane of power and broke out.
08:01 The heroes were wise to team up with the Man in Black
08:04 by the end.

08:11 - Number three, Wonder Woman walks through
08:13 No Man's Land, Wonder Woman.
08:15 - This is not something you can cross.
08:16 It's not possible.

08:25 - During a heated World War I firefight,
08:27 Wonder Woman decides to cross the dangerous
08:30 No Man's Land section of a battlefield.
08:32 Although her allies protested,
08:34 she refused to be stopped.
08:36 The enemy forces tried to strike her down
08:38 with a hell of gunfire.
08:40 However, Wonder Woman demonstrated her divine skills
08:43 by deflecting bullets with her bracelets.

08:48 - She's taking all the fire, let's go!
08:53 - When they concentrated their fire,
08:55 she held back an army's worth of ammo with her shield alone.
08:58 And did we mention that her No Man's showcase
09:01 was just her warmup for another battle?
09:04 This iconic sequence still stands
09:06 as a defining pop culture moment
09:08 that established that Wonder Woman
09:09 is a force to be reckoned with.

09:53 While a regular Man of Steel is intimidating,
09:55 a pissed off Kryptonian is absolutely terrifying.
09:59 The Man of Steel was able to fight off

10:03 without breaking a sweat.

10:11 - He even kept up with the Flash
10:13 while the speedster was going all out.
10:16 Thankfully, Superman was reminded of who he was
