00:02 - Uh-huh.
00:05 Nothing to do with Mickey Mouse being on the front, eh?
00:09 (laughing)
00:11 - Again, that's just very visual, that, with it all in.
00:16 - Yeah. - Yeah.
00:17 - Well, Kevin, should you even stop asking
00:20 just how big a fan your dad was of Sunderland?
00:23 - Absolutely.
00:23 - And a bit about his badge collection, then?
00:25 - Absolutely massive.
00:26 He never missed a game.
00:27 He was always on the news sites
00:29 to find out what was going on with Sunderland.
00:31 He basically lived, breathed, and died Sunderland
00:34 throughout his life, sort of thing.
00:36 If we lost, he'd be in a sulk for a couple of days.
00:39 If we won, he'd be happy for the entire week.
00:42 I've never personally met somebody
00:44 as big of a fan as my dad.
00:46 - And tell me about his badge collection.
00:47 How many badges has he collected?
00:49 - We reckon it's about over 1,000 now,
00:51 so I've brought about 500 here to the museum to donate,
00:55 but I've got about 500 at home as well,
00:57 so well over 1,000.
00:59 - I believe there's some Sunderland badges in there,
01:01 also Olympic ones as well.
01:02 - So on the London Olympics,
01:04 my dad got the entire London Olympics badge collection,
01:08 and I've got some of that at home,
01:10 brought some of it for the museum.
01:11 He's got some Sunderland badges,
01:13 ones of the new crests, ones of black hats.
01:17 I think he might have the old crest in there as well.
01:20 Lots of sport badges, lots of badges from all over the world.
01:23 - Obviously, he moved away from Sunderland.
01:24 How would he know now?
01:25 How would he feel to know that his badge collection
01:28 is gonna go on display at the Fans Museum?
01:29 - He'd be ecstatic.
01:31 He'd be over the moon that people would be looking
01:34 at something that he's collected, he's spent time on,
01:36 and get an enjoyment out of that,
01:38 'cause that's what my dad was all about.
01:40 It'd be the kind of thing,
01:41 what would be a lifelong ambition of his.
01:44 I'm just sorry that it took him donating
01:46 and for it to happen.
01:48 - Michael, obviously, is a museum owner.
01:49 I mean, how do you feel knowing that
01:51 this man's father is gonna be remembered in the museum?
01:55 - Well, like a lot of others,
01:57 we have got a lot of pieces in the museum
01:59 that represent our fans who have passed away,
02:01 and we have done now from day one.
02:03 So, for Keith's collection, I'm pretty proud, honoured,
02:07 and obviously, more to the fact of seeing him,
02:10 he's actually here today.
02:11 It's gonna be fun just going through them all
02:13 and having a little chuckle, but no,
02:15 we are extremely proud.
