00:00 Okay, let's give you a tour of the office, shall we?
00:03 These are our new office, botched office space.
00:06 Pull over here, that door right there.
00:08 Terry, open the door.
00:09 This is our hangout break room.
00:11 And this is where I pass out all the time,
00:12 since I like to sleep.
00:13 You will find him gurgling and sleeping here
00:17 after overeating during lunch.
00:19 Which are four, no.
00:20 Very common.
00:21 Here's where it all happens, the exam room.
00:23 Here's what Terry demonstrates all the time.
00:29 The silicone implants.
00:32 Yeah, and we want to show patients
00:35 before they have a procedure
00:37 what these implants feel like.
00:39 This is like a nice, a nice D cup.
00:44 Yeah.
00:45 Okay, doesn't that look wonderful?
00:47 And this is the real thing.
00:48 I mean, we see our post-ops here
00:50 and we discuss with them how to manage themselves
00:53 after surgery.
00:54 And this is medicine and surgery, but this is no joke, okay?
00:58 So this show may be entertaining,
01:00 but at the end of the day,
01:01 this is about as serious as a heart attack.
01:03 During one procedure this season,
01:04 the situation got so serious,
01:06 the doctors asked their E! reality show crew to lead.
01:09 Her sats just dropped.
01:10 They did?
01:12 Why don't you guys step out?
01:14 Holy (beep)
01:15 There was a significant airway problem
01:18 that we had no reason why it occurred.
01:20 And the O2 saturations,
01:22 which is the amount of oxygen in blood,
01:24 dropped dramatically.
01:26 They always say surgery and anesthesia is 99% boring,
01:31 1% sheer terror.
01:33 And by the way, the patient did fine.
01:35 On Thursday's episode of Botched,
01:36 Dr. Nassif helps a woman who has a large hole in her nose
01:40 from cancer and facial reconstruction
01:42 and has been hiding the hole with a prosthetic.
01:45 We're gonna make an incision up here,
01:47 lift this up like this,
01:49 and then move it down into the hole.
01:50 She'll need many stages to make that nostril
01:53 look somewhat normal.
01:55 Stress is the right way to describe the season.
01:57 We did some really good work, but it was hard.
01:59 (upbeat music)
02:03 (upbeat music)
02:06 (upbeat music)
02:09 (upbeat music)
