00:00 opportunity for us. But now it's just it takes on a different meaning for me.
00:04 Yeah, what is that like? You mentioned getting to, not necessarily, I guess having your dad in mind with some of this stuff now that you maybe can help share and maybe save somebody else.
00:16 Yeah, it goes back to the original. Getting screened, right? Getting screened early and getting screened when you know there's a problem.
00:25 It's like having a persistent cough for like two months and not going to get it checked out and you might come away with something that is a whole lot worse than what you originally imagined.
00:35 I'm actually talking to someone specifically there. Ridiculous. But yeah, it's a lot, man. It's a lot. And thankfully I don't have to take the burden all on my own.
00:49 I have plenty of people to share that with and plenty of people to confide in.
00:53 How have you been handling an injury that you're dealing with and still staying ready and kind of a part of the team here?
00:59 Yeah, we've been handling it. We've been working to handle it. It's good. Just staying locked in, staying focused on the details.
01:07 And that's the best thing for anyone who's out with an injury, right? Because this game for all of us is therapeutic.
01:14 You go down, you can't play, you can't fight, you can't work, you can't run or sweat. You just feel it. Those are medicines for players. Normally the grass is our safe space.
01:26 A lot has been said about the offense. I'll start with a guy who's been in the league with Derek Hardy. What do you maybe want to say about how he can pull you guys out of this and get back on track?
01:36 Yeah, I mean everyone's got their own idea on what we have to do to be successful on offense. It comes down to everyone doing their job, which I know is coach's feet.
01:46 It's rah-rah, chip on your shoulder, player's balls. That's really what it comes down to. If we can all just individually match up and make sure that we're fighting from whistle to whistle to try to keep Derek protected, get open on routes.
02:04 Make the right throws, make the right reads on routes, on balls, on everything that we can do. There's plenty more to be said and there's plenty more to be done. I just think it's time to stop saying that.
