Transcript
00:00 Georgia, you got the win with the Bombers today, how does it feel to get the four points in front of a home crowd for you?
00:08 Yeah, nah, it feels pretty good. It's good to come down here to the country and get a bit of a different crowd.
00:12 Obviously, there's a few Geelong supporters here too, but to even get some people down the highway from other regions,
00:17 it feels pretty good to get the four points. So yeah, I'm pretty stoked to have a family here as well, so it feels good.
00:23 You guys rebounded from a loss last week, and able to keep Geelong's position, held them pretty well defensively as well,
00:30 to keep them two goals early in the game. What were the keys to getting this win today and getting back on the winning list?
00:37 Yeah, we looked at our defensive structure a lot throughout the week. It's something that we've been refining each week,
00:42 so to finally see that work in our favour and bring that pressure, I think that was one of our best pressured games.
00:48 I think we stepped up a lot in that area and it came at a good time. I think it was credit to all the work we put in,
00:55 and we're finally getting things right.
00:57 You're facing your old side instead of the weaker side. I'm not too sure how you were feeling, but how was it?
01:04 Feedback out there and playing on some players you know pretty well?
01:08 Yeah, I was pretty nervous. I couldn't stop thinking about it all week, to be honest.
01:11 Coming up against the old side, obviously friends with a lot of them. It felt pretty weird.
01:16 I'd never done anything like that before, but it was good. It felt a bit weird out there,
01:21 playing on people that I'd just played with for five years. It's a bit of an advantage, I suppose.
01:27 I know how they play and it could work to my favour. I enjoyed it. It was good to get the win against them.
01:34 It feels pretty good.
01:36 You mentioned you have friends and family here in Glasgow.
01:39 You've held a clinic with a lot of South West Yellowcliffs, where you started.
01:42 Can you describe that to us? You get to come back here and play in front of people you know pretty well.
01:48 Yeah, it's good, especially getting family over from where Hamilton is.
01:52 It's a good opportunity. People don't have to travel as far down the highway.
01:57 Four hours, they can just come 30 minutes down the road. It's good to get footy out here.
02:02 It's good. I enjoy it and I hope we can do it in more years to come.
02:06 You enjoyed the atmosphere here today?
02:08 Yeah, it definitely echoes around. The Bombers fans were good today, even Geelong fans.
02:15 There were a lot of people here. I loved it. It's good to hear them on the boundary.
02:18 It brings us up more and makes us push harder.
02:21 It's an opportunity for the Bombers to take this season.
02:26 Are you going ahead from this game?
02:29 Yeah, definitely. We're starting to get things that we've been working on during the season right.
02:33 If we can keep going the way we're going, we're definitely pushing for finals.
02:38 That's obviously what we want to do. It's our next step.
02:41 I'm keen to see what we can do. We've got another four games to go.
02:45 I'm excited and I reckon we can bring it right to the end.
02:49 Yeah.
