A supercar tour crash killed a Swiss couple in Italy on Tuesday after their Ferrari crashed into a Lamborghini and caused a campervan to flip over.
Video footage shows a blue Lamborghini attempting to overtake a white campervan when a red Ferrari behind it tries to overtake at the same time. The Lamborghini is then seen smashing into the campervan, which flips onto its side.
The Ferrari is also seen overturning on the other side of the road, where it catches fire and traps the couple inside.
The couple, Melissa Krautli, 63, and Markus Krautli, 67, were pronounced dead at the scene.
A couple from Selva di Val Gardena, Italy, who were traveling in the campervan, were injured and taken to hospital. An Indian couple who were in the Lamborghini were also injured and hospitalized.
The supercars were driving in the commune of San Giovanni Suergiu in the Italian province of South Sardinia.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
