00:00 What last season was perhaps to the title game this season?
00:05 We're a bit too early into the season to perhaps say that, but regardless, a great win for Arsenal against Manchester City, something they couldn't manage last season.
00:14 But at this time, a deflected effort from Gabriele Martinelli managed to give the Gunners all three points.
00:20 That will really go down well in North London, won't it?
00:23 Brilliant for Arsenal and their confidence. As you say, it's pretty much too early to decide that that's a title decider, but that does wonders for confidence.
00:34 Now City losing to your team, Newcastle in the Cup, then coming to Wolves and losing to my team in the Premier League, then losing in the Premier League again.
00:43 This is the first time they've lost in two years or so back-to-back Premier League games.
00:48 So all the odds are against Arsenal, but at the end of the day, they cracked the Man City code eventually.
00:53 They've got their wrench and it's a big moment for Alcetta as well, obviously working under Guardiola for so many years and then coming and finally getting one over him.
01:01 I was at the London Stadium yesterday for West Ham against Newcastle.
01:06 A 2-2 draw, rounding off a really good period after the last international break for Newcastle, going into this next one.
01:13 Five wins and two draws in all competitions, quite the turnaround from the three defeats they had towards the start of the season.
01:19 It's just a remarkable improvement from all the players. A bit unlucky to not hold on at the end, West Ham scoring in the last couple of minutes of normal time.
01:27 West Ham perhaps feel aggrieved that Bruno Gimaraes was not sent off in the first half for a second yellow.
01:33 But regardless, I think Newcastle were the better team in that game for the most part.
01:37 Had a load more of the ball and perhaps even could have gone 3-1 up when it was 2-1 if Alexander Isaac could have got his hat-trick.
01:45 But not to be. West Ham, they dug in and they got their point.
01:49 At the Molineux, there was a Midlands derby as well. Wolves won, Aston Villa won the final score.
01:55 A real tactical battle where they both sort of matched up at the back.
01:58 Brilliant atmosphere at the Molineux as well.
02:01 Wolves, if you'd have said to them, me personally as well, if they took four points from Man City and then flying Aston Villa aside, they certainly would have taken that in the game.
02:11 But yeah, Charlie Hafenden, our Birmingham World writer, was there as well to give his thoughts on the final whistle.
02:17 Wolverhampton Wanderers won, Aston Villa won here at Molineux Stadium.
02:21 Probably one of the most chaotic 1-1 draws I've ever seen here.
02:26 Obviously it was a West Midlands derby, it was going to be tense, but it brought much more than we expected.
02:32 It was just so chaotic throughout. Wolves able to hold Aston Villa's momentum.
02:36 And finally, on Saturday, Manchester United came from behind to beat Brentford with two goals, both in stoppage time from Scott McTominay.
02:44 And our Manchester World writer, Michael Plant, was there to tell us more.
02:48 Great object, big parts of performances weren't good.
02:52 I don't think they offered enough going forward, I don't think defensively they were sound enough.
02:56 And they were very fortunate to come away with three points, but I think if the United fans were here today, all they would be delighted about is that they have got those three points.
03:02 those three points.
