Orioles Battling Difficult Series Against Rangers at Camden Yards

00:13 in game number two after winning the opening game on Saturday 3-2. Baltimore had the early
00:20 lead yesterday, DRS, in the home half of the first inning. Texas responds with five runs
00:25 in the second, and then Mitch Garver hit a grand salami in the top of the third. Texas
00:31 never looked back after plating nine runs in those two innings, and now DRS a 2-0 series
00:36 advantage over the O's. If there was a thought process behind the Orioles where some of these
00:42 young big game pitchers here haven't really seen postseason success and/or those pressure
00:46 moments, it was Grayson Rodriguez. He was wonderful here in 2023, but certainly not
00:50 wonderful in the start. Inning in two-thirds here, six hits, five earned runs, and four
00:55 walks there. And by the way, just to bring up some pain, if you have it, if you would
00:59 have told me coming into the game, by the way, Seager's going to get on base five times,
01:02 you'd say to yourself, "Man, how many RBI did that guy actually have?" Well, actually
01:05 none, because he was walked five times in that baseball game. Granted, also, shout-out
01:10 to Seager for not forcing the issue. If they're not going to pitch to you, just take the free
01:13 base and hopefully the guys behind you can make them pay. And as you pointed out, Garver
01:17 batted behind him. Yeah, he reaped the benefits of five RBI in that game. I'm surprised by
01:22 this because I thought the Orioles were a feel-good story here. Maybe make a run, re-energize,
01:26 you know, the Baltimore area, the Charmed City, and go along with everything that Camden
01:30 Yards on center, a full center display in the playoffs. It looks like they're not even
01:34 going to get back to Camden Yards at this point because those Texas Rangers bats are
01:38 hot. They win two in Baltimore. You just need one win when you return back to Texas here.
01:42 I think they're going to get it done. It's a shame here. I had higher hopes for the Baltimore
01:45 Orioles going out with a thud as opposed to, hey, they lost a hard-fought battle in five
01:49 games. I don't even know if this goes four at this point.
