00:00 While Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud was unable to get the win for his team,
00:04 falling 21-19 to the Falcons, he found comfort in something else,
00:08 having his name mentioned in the same breath as Tom Brady, Dak Prescott, and Tua Tugavuloa.
00:14 Stroud commented saying, "It's special. Those guys are special football players,
00:18 and I know my path may be different than theirs. I want to be great like they are."
00:22 While Sunday's Week 5 game was not his best, it marked his fifth consecutive game without throwing an interception.
00:29 And with 186 passes thrown, Stroud became the all-time leader for most attempts to begin an NFL career without an interception,
00:37 a record previously held by Prescott since 2016 with 176, and then with Brady with 162, and Tugavuloa with 152.
00:48 Stroud finished his fifth career game completing 20 of 35 attempts for 249 yards with one touchdown,
00:54 and is now tallied at 1,461 yards and seven touchdowns through five games.
