00:00 Welcome back to EdinburghNews.com. I'm reporter Kevin Quinn and here are our three top stories this morning on Tuesday October the 10th.
00:09 Police Scotland officers will be in Musselburgh this morning to stop and speak to motorists two weeks on from when missing 70 year old man Martin Sinnott was last seen.
00:19 His last confirmed sighting was at around 9.20am on Tuesday September the 26th at Newhills Road, Musselburgh where he was seen walking south from the Shell petrol station at the junction with Edinburgh Road.
00:32 Martin is believed to have walked to the Musselburgh area from Edinburgh having been sighted outside a motorbike training centre at Seafield Road at around 6.45am the same day.
00:43 In other news, a GP surgery in Leith has told patients not to contact them unless it's an emergency due to severe staff shortages.
00:52 Leith Mount Surgery sent a text earlier Monday morning informing patients that they have been hit by staff sickness.
01:00 The cause of the sickness at the practice on Lindsay Road has not been confirmed but it is understood that two GPs are of ill as well as a number of administration and other staff, meaning just two GPs were available on Monday morning and one in the afternoon.
01:16 And finally, a woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault at the St James Quarter shopping centre at the weekend.
01:23 Police have arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy following the attack which took place on Friday the 6th of October at around 8pm.
01:31 He was due to appear at court, at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday.
