00:00 If you've been paying attention here,
00:01 if you've tried to have fun in the sun
00:03 over the last several weekends,
00:04 well, we've got the numbers to show
00:06 that it's not you, it's the weather.
00:08 We're going for six wet weekends in a row in New York,
00:11 taking the numbers from Central Park.
00:13 Check this out.
00:14 Now, it'll be six wet weekends in a row
00:16 if we get rain this weekend.
00:18 The forecast calls for us to get quite a bit.
00:20 So we're gonna have that six wet weekend in a row.
00:24 And you see some of the rainfall totals
00:26 that we saw during these past several weekends.
00:28 Yeah, quite a bit in some cases.
00:31 Back in early September,
00:32 we had 1.82 inches of rain over the weekend
00:36 and an additional 1.66 on Monday.
00:38 So yes, we've established the fact
00:40 we've had a tough time having outdoor fun
00:44 in the New York City area for the past several weekends.
00:47 And look at the three-day forecast for the Big Apple.
00:49 Hey, the next two days, almost perfect.
00:51 No one's complaining with that.
00:53 Then we get to Saturday, we cool off,
00:55 we get windy, we get rainy,
00:56 and that's gonna last probably for the whole weekend,
00:59 to tell you the truth, in New York City.
01:02 So the rain will spread in on Saturday, folks.
01:04 We've got that low-pressure system
01:06 moving through the Great Lakes,
01:07 chilly air behind it, humid flow out ahead of it.
01:09 That's gonna fuel thunderstorms on Saturday.
01:12 It could actually be strong
01:13 across the Mid-Atlantic coastline
01:15 down into the Carolinas.
01:17 Meantime, on Sunday, low pressure strengthens off the coast.
01:21 We get wind, we get rain.
01:22 Sunday will be damp for many,
01:24 especially these coastal cities,
01:27 or closer to the coast, like Boston and New York City.
01:29 And meantime, as far as this Wednesday night goes,
01:32 well, what are you doing for me tonight?
01:34 Not bad, 40s and 50s for lows.
01:36 There will be some showers in the interior.
01:39 And then Thursday, a nice one for us, folks.
01:41 The problem is, once we get to the weekend,
01:44 that's when we have our issues.
01:45 What else is new?
