00:15 season eight, episode 14 and 15.

00:29 So quickly running through what the couples are feeling
00:32 before going into the cocktail party.
00:34 Roz and Thomas have been getting jiggy.
00:36 Those are her words, not mine.
00:38 And this time it went a lot better.
00:41 Ella and Nathaniel have gotten more touchy,
00:43 but things are still not too great between them.
00:46 Shona feels like she has to mind her words
00:49 in front of Brad.
00:50 Emotional abuse, okay.
00:53 Then apparently there was a game of spin the bottle
00:59 that has caused quite a stir.
01:01 - Did Portia go?
01:02 - Well, she was snogging everyone as well.
01:04 - Really? - Yeah.
01:05 - Terrence is a good guy,
01:06 and that just shows that she has no respect for that man.
01:09 - They clearly aren't here for the right reason.
01:12 And that kills me inside.
01:13 - Talk about intimacy week.
01:15 Okay, what I'm not understanding about this whole situation
01:20 is it's not like Portia was playing
01:23 spin the bottle by herself.
01:26 If Portia was kissing husbands,
01:28 people were kissing her in return.
01:30 So why this is all falling on Portia,
01:33 I'm not fully understanding.
01:34 I think the only thing is that Terrence wasn't present
01:37 during the game,
01:38 and that is why people feel like
01:39 it's a relationship violation.
01:41 However, she told Terrence about it after the fact,
01:44 which doesn't make it any better,
01:47 but Terrence has been told,
01:49 and seemingly Terrence is okay with it.
01:51 So why there's all this vitriol for Portia
01:55 going into the cocktail party is beyond me.
01:58 As the couples are rolling in,
02:00 this is of course the topic of conversation.
02:03 - Everyone's been talking about it.
02:04 So that's why I hate things
02:05 when people have been talking behind your back.
02:06 - Who's got bits to say?
02:07 - I don't know, but we'll see what happens
02:08 throughout the rest of the party.
02:09 - If Terrence did it to you, would you be annoyed?
02:11 - Why is that your business?
02:12 - Terrence is my friend, I'm intrigued.
02:14 'Cause we completely disagree
02:15 with what the actions have occurred.
02:17 - What do you disagree about?
02:18 - Why not come and knock my door
02:20 and then come and speak to me
02:21 and be like, "Oh, Terrence, do you know what?"
02:22 Like, wait till you get in front of everyone
02:23 to do that kind of thing.
02:24 - The thing that was annoying me
02:26 was that a lot of people were making it bigger
02:28 than Terrence himself was making it.
02:31 And typically I would have been like,
02:34 you know, I guess sometimes it takes hearing something
02:39 from another person for you to now look at it
02:44 with a different perspective.
02:46 But he's a big man.
02:47 He's in his 40s, isn't he?
02:48 Isn't he 40, 45, something like that?
02:50 Like he's a big man.
02:51 Like he can make his own decisions.
02:53 He's already forgiven Portia
02:56 and he's already told the other guys like,
02:57 "Yo, like really it's not that deep."
02:59 But the more he's hearing about it,
03:01 the more he's getting pressed about it.
03:03 So he's saying, you know,
03:04 I need to have a conversation with Portia
03:06 about what cheating means.
03:08 And because it was under the guise of a game,
03:10 he doesn't necessarily consider it cheating,
03:12 but taking consideration of the reaction she had
03:16 hearing that he was a previous cheater,
03:18 the morals that she claims she holds herself to,
03:22 that's what's making his head go into the mindset of,
03:26 well, if it were me, this would have been a bigger issue.
03:31 George was getting on my last nerves,
03:33 because again, Terrence has yet to make it
03:35 as much of a spectacle as everyone else has.
03:38 But George is now gonna be like,
03:40 "Well, I'm just doing this to look out for you
03:41 and how dare you be this and how dare you be that."
03:43 And in as much as I agree with the fact
03:45 that Portia shouldn't have engaged in the game,
03:47 especially in the absence of her husband,
03:49 at least if he was there
03:50 and everybody was consensually agreeing
03:52 to this wife-husband swap thing,
03:56 then that's a different story.
03:57 To now be the judge, jury and executioner
04:00 when her own husband is not having this much vim
04:03 for the situation was a little weird to me.
04:06 Once the dinner has started,
04:08 Terrence decides to address the table
04:11 and let them know that he is cool with his wife.
04:15 And if you wanna put her in her place,
04:17 like that's not something that he's gonna be okay with.
04:19 George is standing on his conviction
04:23 saying that he's not gonna apologize.
04:24 He said what he meant and he's looking out for his friend
04:26 and the whole thing just kicks off.
04:28 - I don't know why George and Peggy decided
04:30 to sort of come with this whole,
04:32 what's happening with Portia.
04:32 Don't bring it in front of everyone.
04:34 There was no need for that.
04:35 - He has no right to question me about anything.
04:37 - Why do I not?
04:38 - 'Cause who are you?
04:39 If I wasn't there, you could have your opinion,
04:41 have your opinion between you and your relationship.
04:43 - Portia.
04:44 - I know this is not Mr.
04:46 I want my woman to have big breasts
04:48 talking about morals and all this kind of stuff.
04:50 Like he, and it even gets worse for him.
04:53 He is like, I'm looking out for my friend.
04:56 Your friend didn't even give you approval
04:58 to talk to Portia like that.
04:59 So now you're attacking your friend's wife,
05:02 which is not boding well with your friend.
05:04 You see?
05:05 And then near the end, Peggy and Portia now go at each other
05:09 and then George was like, don't talk to Peggy like that.
05:11 Don't talk about my wife.
05:12 That's exactly what you were doing earlier.
05:14 That's exactly what you were doing earlier.
05:17 So yeah, my annoyance isn't whether or not
05:22 Portia was right or wrong.
05:24 I think we can all agree that she was wrong,
05:26 but for George to take up the responsibility
05:29 of disciplining her was weird.
05:32 Skimming through some things at the dinner party.
05:34 Laura told Arthur that she loves him.
05:36 It was a quick thing, but I was like, oh, okay.
05:39 I didn't know we were there with y'all.
05:40 Tasha wants an engagement ring from Paul,
05:43 not just the wedding band.
05:44 Eri and Jordan tell the group
05:46 that they've consummated their marriage.
05:48 George refuses to apologize
05:51 and Taryn takes JJ aside to see
05:53 where things stand with him and Bianca.
05:56 They're obviously still just friends.
05:58 Then we have Ella and Nathaniel who have a chip on their,
06:01 Nathan, I said his name weird, didn't I?
06:04 Whatever.
06:05 Ella and Nathaniel who have a chip on their shoulder
06:08 about people perceiving them as being friends
06:11 and them not progressing as far
06:13 as they would have liked to by this point.
06:15 She needs to shove her opinion back up her ass.
06:17 You do know it's an experiment and we're here to try.
06:20 And I feel like you can clearly see I've been trying.
06:23 I feel like I'm being alienated
06:25 'cause I'm not in the place that I want to be
06:26 because of my husband, not because of me.
06:28 - Yeah, I know that.
06:28 - Do not chat about her.
06:30 If you want to chat about us, tell us first.
06:32 - Honestly, regarding the friendship couple things,
06:34 like this is not Love Island.
06:36 This is not a situation where like the most
06:38 in love popular couple wins at the end.
06:41 Like it's okay to not be as far along as everybody else,
06:44 especially because the show is an experiment.
06:47 Like Ella said, there are experts here
06:49 who are here to help nurture these relationships
06:52 if they're stagnant or if they're regressing.
06:55 It's okay to just be stuck in the friend's frame,
07:00 I feel, as long as there's effort being put in.
07:03 That's why even some of the couples that I don't believe in,
07:05 I can still see them seeing the experiment
07:09 through to the end,
07:10 but maybe not having a relationship afterwards.
07:12 I don't think that that's a bad thing.
07:15 Then you have Laura and Shona who are, was it Shona?
07:19 Yeah, Laura and Shona who are continuing
07:22 to stoke this fire of drama
07:25 and they're now telling Portia
07:27 about what Peggy has been saying about her
07:30 and things just come to blows.
07:32 - I don't go around having opinions
07:34 about your relationship or anyone else's.
07:35 - But you're allowed to.
07:36 - Keep my name out--
07:37 - And keep my fucking name out of your mouth, too.
07:39 - I never talk about you, you're boring!
07:41 - Shut up, you big shit.
07:43 Calm down.
07:44 - I'm not calm, I'm angry.
07:46 - There's a lot of disrespect for my wife.
07:48 I'm not happy.
07:49 - Again, I know this is not you talking, George.

07:55 Whatever sense of entitlement that he has gotten
08:00 these last few weeks is just mind blowing to me.
08:03 He now feels like Portia shouldn't talk to Peggy
08:05 in the way that he's talking to her
08:07 and the way that she's talking to her,
08:08 even though he has been attacking Portia
08:10 against Terrence's advisement.
08:15 Well, he didn't advise, they didn't really say anything,
08:17 but he didn't give you permission
08:18 to talk to his wife like that.
08:19 So why are you attacking her, you know what I mean?
08:22 The group is definitely not taking to George very well.
08:25 I can understand why.
08:27 Of course, in this process,
08:29 it's okay for everyone to have their opinions
08:31 on each relationship, but again, this whole like,
08:35 I'm better than you, let me discipline you,
08:37 let me show you how you're wrong
08:38 is not really gonna land well with a lot of people.
08:41 So anyways, the next day, Peggy is still reeling
08:44 with the idea that her friends don't like her husband.
08:47 - Peggy, please.
08:50 - I'm not a malicious person, babe, and it's really hard.
08:53 - I do feel bad for her
08:54 'cause this is clearly bothering her more than me.
08:57 - It's the worst feeling in the world
09:00 to think that your friends and best friends
09:03 do not like your husband.
09:05 You know I love you and I've always got your back.
09:07 I don't have your husband's back,
09:10 but I support you in anything you do.
09:12 - I feel like eventually Peggy's gonna come
09:13 to the realization that George just is not it, is not it.
09:18 At times, he still exhibits these man boy characteristics.
09:22 He's just not it.
09:24 But anyways, in the meantime,
09:26 when she's on her journey to discovering that,
09:28 she decides to go and apologize to Ella
09:30 who does accept the apology, but is still not fond of George.
09:34 I don't blame her.
09:36 George is somebody who
09:38 just doesn't really know time and place,
09:43 whether that's with other people or with Peggy.
09:45 So after a while, it does get exhausting and annoying.
09:49 So Terrence was talking to George and Jordan
09:54 about this whole kiss thing
09:57 and whether or not it is cheating.
09:58 However, we're not gonna touch on it too much
10:00 because it's gonna come up in the commitment ceremony.
10:02 At the commitment ceremony, Brad and Shona were not present.
10:07 And so some people have been saying it in the comments,
10:09 but I realized the comments
10:10 and the people who watch the videos
10:11 sometimes are two different groups of people,
10:13 so I'm not gonna spoil anything.
10:15 But you can make an educated guess
10:19 as to what's gonna happen with them
10:21 based on how Brad has been talking to Shona.
10:23 So let's move on to the couples who are actually here.
10:27 Roz and Thomas are first on the couch.
10:28 Honestly, things have just done a 180 between them.
10:33 No, Thomas says that the hugging challenge
10:36 is what progressed his feelings for her,
10:39 which is what Roz has been asking for weeks.
10:42 She just wanted a cuddle.
10:43 She just wanted a cuddle.
10:45 But then again, Roz, no, no, Roz,
10:49 because isn't a sex more intimate than a cuddle?
10:54 How'd it make sense, girl?
10:59 Anyways, things are good between them.
11:00 They choose to stay.
11:01 Then you have Bianca and JJ who are next.
11:03 And JJ says that his type, as we know, is not Bianca,
11:08 but it's not even just the model type either.
11:14 - It's been like kind of girls
11:15 that have had a lot of work done
11:18 and they kind of all look the same.
11:21 I'm not in this, no disrespect,
11:23 just to sleep with someone.
11:24 I don't, I could do that anyway.
11:26 For me, it was just even putting your arm around me
11:29 just for the reassurance that you've got me.
11:31 If this goes too slow, I'll just envision it as a friendship
11:35 and then for me, that's it, I'll shut it down.
11:37 - So this man wants a plastic Barbie.
11:39 He says his type is women who have a lot of work done.
11:44 That's what he typically goes for.
11:46 And I'm like, see, I was walking with you yesterday,
11:49 but I'm not walking with you today, sir.
11:51 I'm not walking with you today because
11:54 you can have a model-esque type beauty
11:59 and not have augmentations.
12:04 And then also you doing this whole,
12:06 well, I don't wanna progress too much
12:08 because it's gonna give a false sense
12:11 of where we are in the relationship
12:13 and I don't wanna give her hope
12:14 and I don't wanna lead her on and whatever, whatever.
12:15 I'm just looking out for her.
12:16 But no, if you were attracted to her,
12:18 you would have been intimate with her.
12:20 And it doesn't have to be full-on sex,
12:22 but a lot more physically affectionate,
12:25 at the very least, verbally.
12:27 So he's like, yeah, I'm trying to change my ways
12:30 'cause in the past, I would just jump into bed with people
12:33 and I'm trying to be different.
12:35 No, you just don't like her.

12:38 So Bianca shared her grievances to the experts
12:40 and apparently that was a blindside to JJ.
12:42 He hasn't heard it in that way.
12:44 I don't know how more clear Bianca could have been.
12:48 She said it at the honeymoon, she's saying it now.
12:51 JJ's confused, I'm confused why he's confused,
12:54 but either way, they both decided to stay.
12:56 Tasha and Paul are next.
12:58 Like, what can we say?

13:01 The music was throwing me off a little bit.
13:03 The music was making me think that Tasha
13:04 was gonna say something negative
13:06 and I was like, wait, hold on, wait, wait.
13:08 You're my favorite couple, what's happening?
13:09 But no, things are going really well between them.
13:11 She says she feels so safe
13:13 and she's never felt this comfortable with someone before.
13:15 Love that for them.
13:17 Then you have Peggy and George
13:19 who are realizing that they are the least favorite couple
13:23 in the experiment at the moment.
13:25 - I've gone in and I've been more reactive than factual.
13:30 - And sometimes I feel like,
13:31 always trying to reassure George,
13:34 advise him on his actions
13:35 and how they can be perceived negatively.
13:38 I need you to realize, George,
13:40 like I don't wanna keep on saying it to you.
13:42 - No. - No.
13:43 - Please leave me. - I'm over it, sorry.
13:46 - A few weeks ago, we talked about Peggy
13:49 likely going to get tired of having to teach George
13:52 how to be an adult.
13:54 The time has come.
13:55 And I can't blame her.
13:56 It's not even just a matter of,
13:58 hey, I would like you not to have beef
14:00 with all of my friends,
14:02 but just to know like,
14:04 there are certain ways to address conflict with people
14:08 and making a spectacle of something in front of everybody,
14:11 especially when you are friends
14:13 with one of the parties involved,
14:14 is not the way to go.
14:16 Take them aside and have a conversation.
14:18 And if you felt like it was your place
14:20 to stick up for your friend,
14:21 at least give him the heads up like,
14:23 hey, I don't feel like what you're,
14:24 I feel like what your wife did wasn't good,
14:27 so I'm going to address it.
14:30 Is that cool with you?
14:31 And if he said no, you'd have to respect that.
14:34 And if he said yes,
14:35 you still could have handled it
14:36 in a way that was a little bit more classy
14:38 than how you did.
14:39 So Peggy says,
14:42 do you want to deal with this for a long time?
14:43 I don't know.
14:45 Also on Discord,
14:47 some people were talking about the different shows
14:49 that people on this show have been on before.
14:51 Both Peggy and George have been on previous dating shows.
14:56 Was it dating shows or just shows in general?

15:02 But George is definitely trying to make his name known
15:04 out here in these streets.

15:09 Erica and Jordan are next on the couch.
15:11 Again, with them, literally nothing to say.
15:13 Things have just been getting on like a house on fire.
15:15 She welcomed her 25th birthday in the best way possible.

15:19 And so, yeah, things are great between them.
15:21 Then you have Ella and Nathaniel who are next on the couch.
15:25 And Nathaniel actually says
15:26 he feels a lot more comfortable with Ella.
15:29 - I don't want to be in this kind of territory for too long.
15:33 And I shouldn't be worried about being in a friend zone.
15:36 - So I just started being myself.
15:37 She started being yourself.
15:40 - Yeah.
15:40 I feel like I can see I'm growing as a person,
15:43 which is like the last thing I thought would happen.
15:47 - 100% staying.

15:51 what the hell was the point of you doing an interview

16:52 I kind of was looking at Terrence a little bit sideways
16:55 because you mean to tell me the straw
16:57 that broke the camel's back is a game of spin the bottle.
17:02 When just a few weeks ago,
17:03 the woman was yelling in your face
17:05 and calling you all kinds of names
17:07 that were not a child of God.
17:08 And, but this spin the bottle, I get it.
17:12 I get it.
17:14 The undertone of spin the bottle
17:15 was whether or not she was cheating.
17:17 But to me, the disrespect from weeks ago
17:19 was enough to really call the relationship.
17:21 - I feel like it was a cheating element.
17:24 I've tried to let it go,
17:25 but it has been kind of niggling at me.
17:26 Do you know what I mean?
17:27 - Look at me.
17:27 I'm sorry.
17:31 - Okay.
17:33 - And it won't happen again.
17:35 - Terrence, are you happy in your relationship?
17:37 - There's elements I'm happy.

17:45 - So here we are, Terrence wants to leave.
17:46 Portia does not want to leave.
17:48 And then so she wants to hold this man under duress.
17:51 She wants to impress on him in the experiment.
17:54 This woman is like, the last time you told me to leave,
17:57 I mean, you said you wanted to leave and I wanted to stay.
18:00 We were able to work things out.
18:01 And so just now you were kissing me just hours before.
18:04 What do you mean you're gonna leave?
18:05 I'm gonna stay.
18:06 And by the end of this week,
18:08 we're gonna see if we still want to sit.
18:09 Girl, don't fight for this more than your partner
18:13 wants to fight for it, honestly.
18:15 Especially in an experiment.
18:16 If it was a real marriage, okay.
18:18 But an experiment, girl, cut your losses.
18:21 Cut your losses.
18:21 So anyways, they decided to leave the experiment.
18:24 The next episode seems to be hot and spicy.
18:28 Hot and spicy.
18:29 Okay, the girls are going at it.
18:31 Tasha and Erica don't like each other.
18:33 JJ and Ella have eyes for each other.
18:36 And then we're finally gonna see
18:38 the whole Brad and Shona fall out.
18:41 But also, I've seen your messages.
18:44 And I know that Will and Jovo did an interview with Portia.
18:49 I'm gonna watch it.
18:50 I don't know if it's gonna be worth reviewing,
18:53 but I will watch it.
18:54 And then if it's worth a whole review,
18:57 I'll do a separate video.
