00:10 My parents, Haim and Osnat, are living or have lived in Kibbutz Niroz.

00:18 Actually they are one of the founders of Kibbutz Niroz and they've been living there for the

00:25 past 60 years.

00:27 Kibbutz Niroz is very near the border with Gaza and it's a peaceful community usually

00:36 of around 350 people.

00:40 My family, my friends, they call this place their home.

00:47 On Saturday morning around 7am they woke up into a different type of situation.

00:57 Dozens of terrorists invaded the Kibbutz and started butchering the residents, going house

01:05 by house.

01:08 They butchered my friends, people I grew up with.

01:14 There is no family in the Kibbutz that was left unhurt.

01:23 Everyone I know has at least one family member that was kidnapped or brutally murdered.

01:33 The survivors will take a long time to recover.

01:37 The houses are burned and shattered and so is everyone's heart.

01:47 I can give you the numbers that we know of.

01:52 From around 350 Kibbutz members, more than 20 were murdered and 80 are currently missing,

02:04 24 of those are elderly, above 75 years old, unhealthy people.

02:14 15 of them are kids, toddlers and even babies.

02:20 My own father, Chaim Perin, is almost 80 years old.
