00:00 [Polish]
00:02 There are about 94 people here at the moment.
00:05 Two people have left.
00:07 The senior group has been here for 20 years.
00:12 One more senior girl joined the group.
00:16 At the moment, the group has 10 members.
00:19 And there are practically no months without performances.
00:24 In the municipality and outside.
00:26 Usually, at our big events, like Father's Day, Mother's Day, Women's Day,
00:34 we have our own singing to beautify our meetings.
00:39 Our group has almost 1200 people.
00:44 We meet four times a year.
00:48 In March, on Women's Day.
00:51 In April, on Invalids Day.
00:54 In September, we have 80+ people.
00:57 We invite all of those 1200 people who have turned 80.
01:04 If you can, feel free to join us.
01:07 Or you can simply invite your guardian to our meetings.
01:12 And now, in the autumn, in October, we have Senior Day.
01:16 We had this meeting.
01:18 Today, there were 120 people here.
01:24 There was the Minister of Health.
01:26 I would like to wish you all,
01:28 especially, the health on Senior Day.
01:33 I would also like to take this opportunity,
01:36 as we can see here,
01:38 I would like to share some good news
01:43 about the Rotoszyni Hospital.
01:47 Ladies and gentlemen, we are in the middle of modernization
01:52 of the hospital on Boleski Street.
01:56 Thanks to the enormous support from government resources,
02:01 we have managed, or rather, we have failed.
02:04 We have raised 13 million PLN
02:07 to renovate the old, historic hospital in Rotoszyni.
02:14 Thanks to this, we will be able to provide help.
02:19 The hospital will be renovated.
02:22 I wish you all the best.
02:25 Mr. Minister, you are extremely important.
02:29 The Minister is an ambassador for all the seniors in Poland.
02:34 If she were here alone, she would not be able to say this personally,
02:37 because I would be embarrassed to say this about the hospital.
02:42 Ladies and gentlemen,
02:44 the Minister has made a lot of effort
02:48 to make sure that someone will finally see the seniors.
02:52 So that you will not be treated by the whole system of social policy
02:57 as the fifth wheel of a train,
02:59 but to restore your dignity.
03:01 This is evidenced by numerous social and economic programs
03:05 addressed to all seniors,
03:07 regardless of whether they are supporters of the current political group or not.
03:14 Because the experiences of 13 or 14 years old
03:17 are really for all seniors.
03:21 But this is not the only achievement.
03:24 Because in addition to this financial support,
03:26 there is also a huge commitment to the activity of seniors
03:31 within programs such as Senior Plus.
03:34 You know very well that it is the Ministry of Family Affairs
03:37 which is responsible for the opening and financing of clubs and homes for seniors.
03:43 Today, there are about 1200 clubs in Poland.
03:46 In the whole of Wielkopolska there are about 100.
03:49 But another area that we deal with
03:52 and which is being developed by the Minister is the Active Plus program.
03:56 It is tens of thousands of satisfied seniors
04:00 who, within this program, financed by the Ministry of Family Affairs,
04:05 could spend a good time, go out, meet people,
04:10 take part in various kinds of trips.
