00:03 The challenges is that I have not filmed in such an open field.
00:08 There's a reason why we are in pitch black darkness here
00:10 because we're literally in the middle of nowhere.
00:12 We realized that we cannot...
00:14 Hmm...
00:15 We cannot change the weather.
00:17 It's a submission to nature.
00:18 We are shooting likely in the middle of monsoon season.
00:22 So it could be raining one minute and then sunny in the next.
00:26 Conti is always a problem, we're always rushing.
00:28 But we got what we need and it feels like nature allowed us to make a better film.
00:34 And it's a dream come true.
00:35 Dream come true to be working with the one Hanafisu,
00:38 Namrons, Farah Ahmad, ideals of the world.
00:41 Because they are such consummate professionals.
00:44 The first day that I met all of them, I said that
00:46 I've been holding on to this script for the last five years or six years.
00:51 Today it's yours.
00:52 And one day when we are at the premiere, it belongs to the audience.
00:56 The first one will be the first day of shoot.
00:58 The second big one for us is the day that we actually have the cast together.
01:04 That is the first time that we actually have the whole gang.
01:07 It's so fun because for an ensemble piece,
01:10 they never get to meet each other until that one moment.
01:12 The last of course is the burning of La Luna itself.
01:15 Massive day, the house burned down in around 13 minutes flat.
01:20 And Sharifah Mani gave the performance of a lifetime.
01:24 22 days working with the team, it's fantastic.
01:27 You know, I mean, I believe that we're the best crew.
01:30 And the fact that they welcomed me and my team with open arms,
01:33 you know, from Singapore, it's been great.
01:35 La Luna was a dream that I never thought could have happened.
01:39 From the people who drove us to set, who sent us back home.
01:43 From the producers down to the PAs, down to the interns, right?
01:48 Everybody have been extremely supportive.
01:51 I'm extremely appreciative for all of you.
01:54 And to Lim Teck and Adrian Tay of Clover and Act 2,
01:59 thank you for doing this with me, going through this journey with us.
02:02 A happy moment is coming to set every day, being challenged to do better.
02:08 It's a wrap for La Luna!
