A man who was just released from prison has been arrested after allegedly stealing £100 worth of alcohol from a shop. Company pledges £10,000 to restore Leazes Park playground. And finally the Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service visited kids in the Great North Childrens Hospital to offer advice on National Burns Awareness Day.

00:05 A man who was just released from prison has been arrested again after allegedly stealing
00:09 £100 worth of alcohol from a shop.
00:12 J B Brown was serving 16 weeks in prison for shoplifting.
00:15 Police were then informed about the incident and located Brown who was arrested and charged
00:19 and was recalled to prison to serve the remainder of his sentence.
00:24 A fundraising effort has been launched to make the playground in Lees' Park usable.
00:28 Currently, the park is cornered off but Northern Lights, who will be putting on a Christmas
00:31 display in the park, have said they will pledge up to £10,000 to help get the equipment up
00:37 to scratch.
00:38 And finally, the Tyne Way Fire and Rescue Service visited kids in the Great North Children's
00:42 Hospital to offer advice on National Burns Awareness Day.
00:47 The kids became heroes for the day and got to try on some of the fire kit whilst exploring
