00:00 This is our bed. This is our bed next Friday night. It's one night guys, it's one night, that's all it is.

00:07 Luckily we can go home to Wallush warm beds on Saturday morning. The street friends don't have

00:15 that privilege of finding a warm spot to go to once their bones are freezing cold.

00:20 I mean this morning we woke up and there was ice on my van window so it's only

00:26 going to get worse over the coming months. So next week hats, gloves, got my cup as.

00:34 I am Joanne who is from Destiny Streetworks is going to be bringing a load of sandwiches.

00:39 She'll have a canister for the tea and coffee and stuff like that. So checklist for next week,

00:46 you've got to just warm clothing. I mean I've got like I'll be having a couple of

00:49 pairs of leggings on, a jumper on, as long as you've got a few layers on.

00:54 Jammies, I mean you can make it as comfy or as uncomfortable as you like.

00:58 I will definitely, definitely be bringing a pillow and yes once again I know that there

01:03 will be people that say well it's not really like you're sleeping rough but we're sleeping out,

01:07 we're sleeping in the cold. We are dry because you've got this, that's another bonus that we

01:12 have got. For the ones who will say that I will just suggest just coming on and sleep outside

01:18 and say and before you kind of judge and say that it's not an actual full-on sleep out,

01:22 it is what outside and what we are in the cold. Sleeping bag, pillow if needed, cardboard for

01:29 underneath you, little snacks or what have you. We have got the use of, so from here you can see

01:34 the Hebb and Sports Club, so we have got the use of the toilets in there. Yet again another bonus

01:41 of what an actual street friend won't have. It's about five, yeah five or six that we've been doing

01:47 this now. Loads and loads of money gets raised for the homeless organisations. No money's coming

01:52 to Hebb and Helps, this is purely just an event that I will set up just to ensure that somebody

01:57 makes something and that the street friends are looked after. So anybody that is interested,

02:03 I have had a little bit of interest but then I haven't heard anything kind of back off anybody.

02:08 So if you are interested we do have sponsor forms, there is links that I can send you

02:12 for the street work guys. As far as I know that is the only organisation that is going to be coming

02:21 but that just means that they will benefit a little bit better and honestly the work that

02:24 they do up in Newcastle is second to none. They are out there in all hours, they are out there

02:30 loads of days. There is volunteering opportunities as well. So yeah, I mean this is it. Next Friday

02:37 sleep out for the street friends. If you see us say hi. I mean you probably will back and

02:42 forwards into the pub if we are going to nip in for wee's and stuff like that. Yeah, just please
