00:37 What are you doing that's so consistent
00:39 you keep topping our charts?
00:41 - It's really, I feel like it's caring.
00:43 Just like caring enough to take the time
00:46 where it's not difficult for me to just take a long time
00:50 if I need to, to work on something.
00:52 - And when you put like that much love and effort
00:54 into each project, like could you pick a favorite?

01:20 every time you do it?
01:21 - I used to switch it up
01:22 depending on where I'm performing at.
01:24 Like, you know, just the crowd, the demographic,
01:26 the type of show.
01:27 But, um-
01:28 - If it's Atlanta, it's probably Amigo's track.
01:30 - You know, it's the A, it's gonna be something different
01:32 than when I'm in Switzerland or Norway,
01:35 or, you know, even Toronto.
01:37 - And I love that you got so many catchphrases too.
01:39 I feel like there's so many ways you know
01:41 when a Metro track is coming on.

01:57 really just do it without thinking.
01:58 - And then also, of course, we're talking music,

02:02 Man, how did it feel to see yourself, like,
02:04 in the animated form like that?
02:05 - Man, God, man.
02:06 Like, I was just so thrilled to get the call
02:08 to work on a soundtrack.
02:10 At first, it was just the opportunity to work on it.
02:13 Then that turned into executive producing.
02:15 That just turned into,
02:16 "Hey, you want to come read a couple lines
02:18 for the next screening?"
02:19 - Wow.
02:19 - We had some ideas, everybody laughed,
02:21 and it just turned into, I don't know.
02:23 Even after that, I didn't look at it in my head.
02:25 Like, "Oh, it's going to be in there."
02:26 - Boom.
02:28 - Yeah, then I started seeing, like,
02:30 previews and animation of how my Spider-Man
02:33 was going to look.
02:34 I was like, "Hold on, this might be real."
02:35 - That's so dope.
02:36 - And then the first time I saw it,
02:37 I was just like, "Wow."
02:39 - That's amazing.
02:40 And then back to music,
02:42 I read something that I thought was kind of crazy.
02:44 So you was working on three new future tracks,
02:47 and then, like, a storm happened?
02:49 Like, what happened with that?
02:50 - Oh, that was a couple nights ago.
02:52 It's actually, they weren't even tracks yet,
02:53 but they were beats,
02:54 'cause I'm actually, I'm going to go record with him today.
02:56 They were beats that I was going to make,
02:57 that I was making for the next time I seen him.
03:00 And it was going crazy, boom, boom, boom.
03:02 And I just came from Atlanta, and there was a storm.
03:05 One of my beat machines that I use,
03:07 it's not like a computer, it's like, it's old school.
03:09 So it's like, plugged up, the power goes off,
03:11 and you haven't saved it.
03:12 Just, that's it.
03:13 - That's it.
03:13 - You know what I'm saying?
03:14 - And when you lose it, do you be like,
03:15 "I'm going to go back and try to recreate that idea
03:17 and start at the same place that you, like, bump,
03:19 and I'm just going to do something completely different?"
03:21 - It depends.
03:21 Like, sometimes, if I'm so far into something
03:23 and that happens, then I'll just be like,
03:25 "All right, I just got to do something new."
03:26 'Cause I'm not even, you know,
03:28 and that usually be a blessing in disguise.
03:30 Usually I didn't learn, because the next thing be like,
03:33 "Oh man, I wouldn't have had this if I didn't lose this."
03:36 - There you go.
03:37 There you go, that's the way to look at it.
03:38 And what can we expect next from you?
03:39 Like, any new projects you working on, or anybody else?
03:42 I know JID, I've heard some stuff about.
03:44 - Man, we got me and Pluto album, ASAP.
03:48 Yeah, me and JID, we've been working on that too, as well.
03:51 You know, might have that coming sometime after that.
03:54 I'm really excited about that one.
