Since the announcement of McDonald's to send thousands of free meals to Israeli soldiers, Arabs have announced a massive boycott campaign against the American fast food company.

McDonald's shares fell sharply following the boycott announcement. However, Arab branches released statements claiming that McDonald's companies in the Arab countries are 100 percent belong to Arab investors.

Furthermore, McDonald's was not the only one being boycotted by Arabs, social media users were also shocked to see the statement made by the Walt Disney Company confirming the donation of $2 million to "humanitarian efforts" in Israel. Many other firms were also targeted by the boycott campaign including Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Starbucks.

Meanwhile, Egyptian football star Mohammed Salah lost 1 million on Facebook after his silence on Israeli attacks on Gaza.
