Birmingham headlines 16 October: After London, Palestine protest comes to Birmingham city centre
Sunday saw a demonstration in Birmingham where many gathered in support of Palestine. The protest began at 1pm outside Primark on the High Street. It follows Israel's retaliatory operations after the attack from Hamas last week where at least 1300 people died.

West Midlands Police have released CCTV images after after several dry riser valves and copper pipework were stolen from tower blocks in Birmingham. Police are appealing for information about the suspect, who is described as being around 5"5, in his mid 50s and wearing a high-vis orange jacket.

A popular Birmingham bar was ranked among the top 20 dog-friendly hospitality venues in the UK. Brewdog ranked at no.6 best dog-friendly hospitality venue in the country and was the only one from Birmingham to be featured on the list by travel website Enjoy Travel.
