00:02 And it's actually great to be here,

00:04 because you guys are an incredible school,

00:06 and we're really proud of brilliant schools like this.

00:09 And I just want to say thank you to your incredible team

00:11 who got me to be here, everything that you guys do here.

00:13 But that's not the main reason I'm here, of course.

00:16 I'm here because I know that the Jewish community right now

00:19 is feeling under an enormous amount of pressure,

00:22 given everything that's going on.

00:24 So we all stand with the Jewish community,

00:26 not just today, not just tomorrow, but always.

00:29 And we will also stand with Israel,

00:31 not just today, not just tomorrow, but always.

00:35 And Yisrael, hi. Thank you very much.

00:40 It's been a tough week,

00:42 but you guys have come together incredibly well,

00:44 and that's why I wanted to come here,

00:46 and just let you know that I'm doing everything I can,

00:48 as is the government, as is Theresa, your MP,

00:50 to support you, the Jewish community,

00:52 through what is an awful, awful time.

00:54 And I know many of you will have family and friends

00:56 that have been impacted directly by what's happening,

00:58 and we're talking a little bit about it in the Assembly,

01:00 and we're hearing from some of your fellow students

01:04 who spoke so brilliantly and passionately about their feelings,

01:08 and that's why I'm here.

01:09 That's why I'm sure that everyone wants to know that we're with you too.

01:11 So I'm saying in the Assembly,

01:13 and I stand with all of you in the Jewish community,

01:15 not just today, not just tomorrow, but always.

01:17 And I really mean it, because, like many of you,

01:21 I was saying in the Assembly, I'm different,

01:23 I come from a different background,

01:25 and our society is strongest when that diversity is respected.

01:32 There are people who are trying to stir up hatred and division,

01:37 and I will always strive very hard to protect that diversity.

01:40 Those of us who come from different faiths, different backgrounds,

01:43 have every right to participate in society and contribute and do that.
