00:00 Yesterday we went to the beach... beach?
00:04 Oh, okay.
00:05 All in us, hey! This is ITZY.
00:09 And this is Billboard News.
00:29 Hey, it's Tetris with Billboard News and I'm hanging out with ITZY. Hi, ladies!
00:33 Hi!
00:34 Thank you for coming. I gotta say congratulations.
00:37 "Kill My Doubt" is the fifth album you guys have had on the Billboard 200. How did that feel?
00:41 [applause]
00:44 Very thankful for our fans, MIDZY. Thank you so much.
00:49 Five albums in, what made this album different than the ones prior?
00:53 We talk about the confidence a lot, but this time we talked about the darkness inside.
00:58 So we could love ourselves because we defeated the darkness inside.
01:03 So I think it's a big difference from previous albums.
01:06 That's such a good message. What are some of your favorite tracks? I want to know. I'm sure everybody has a different opinion.
01:11 So what's your favorite track on the album?
01:14 "Psychic Lover."
01:15 Oh, I love that song too.
01:17 And mine is "Breadie."
01:19 My pick is "None of My Business."
01:21 Mine's also "None of My Business."
01:27 Ooh.
01:28 Why is that one so personal to you, you think?
01:30 From the first time I listened to it, I really liked the song.
01:34 The vibe of the song is very easy listening.
01:36 It's kind of a good song to drive and just listen to.
01:39 Okay, well, now we gotta talk about my favorite song on the album, which is "Cake," obviously.
01:44 Oh!
01:45 It's so good.
01:46 And the video's wild, okay? You were doing stunts and fashion and the choreography.
01:55 So what was your favorite part of filming "Cake?"
01:57 My favorite part is "It's Okay." Yeah, it was always fine.
02:02 Yeah, the lyrics of that part is really good, I think.
02:04 And also, I love the story of that music video because it's a little bit cute.
02:10 And talking about that main character who never dies, it could seem really funny and cute to other people who see the music video.
02:17 Well, you say funny and cute, but let's talk about the story of the video.
02:21 It was very much like "Squid Game," okay?
02:23 Now, that show scared me. I would be so scared watching it.
02:27 What made you guys pick this one to make it colorful and fun?
02:30 The costume and everything kind of made it very fun. It really went along with our song.
02:36 And actually, not only "Squid Game," there's parts from Korean dramas, Korean movies also appear.
02:42 But I think for our global fans, the "Squid Game" would be the most recognizable.
02:48 Any other new favorite shows you guys are watching?
02:50 In Korean, the title is "Akki," and it means "very bad."
02:55 Well, everybody had a reaction to that. So that show must be really good. I have to check it out.
02:59 But it's also scary.
03:01 Oh, another scary one? Okay, okay, I'll try it out.
03:05 And you guys also were touring in the U.S. just a year ago, and your fans want more.
03:10 So when's the next time you think you guys are going to hit the road?
03:12 We're not sure yet, but we definitely want to come again to the U.S. and have another second tour.
03:19 Because the last experience was really amazing.
03:21 So how was KCON, and what made that different this year than the previous time you've been?
03:30 KCON was really good. It's really nice that we came here to see our MIDZYs and K-pop fans.
03:37 We received a very warm welcome.
03:41 And also, our first time to perform with our fans on stage.
03:47 We had a collaboration stage where we got to perform with our fans.
03:51 Oh my god, that's crazy. So how was that experience? Was it nervous for them, or were you guys nervous? How did you feel?
03:57 Before the stage, we had a time where we could practice together with them, and that was really fun.
04:03 I'm sure they were losing their minds. I can't imagine doing that.
04:07 And then also, last time you guys were here for KCON, I don't know if you remember this,
04:11 we talked to you guys about how you went to Knott's Berry Farm, the theme park.
04:15 So what did you do this time? Have you seen anything new in LA on this trip?
04:19 Yesterday, we went to the beach.
04:23 The weather was so nice. It was so great.
04:30 Which beach did you go to?
04:32 Santa Monica.
04:33 So you went to the pier. Check that out.
04:35 Every time you guys come, you do something fun. Next time I'm going to find you and join you, okay?
04:39 We'll go to Disneyland. It'll be great.
04:41 We'd love to go.
04:42 All of us. We'll do it.
04:44 Thank you guys so much for hanging out with us. I had so much fun.
04:46 Me too. Thank you so much.
