00:00 - Yeah, my name's Lockie Kerr.
00:01 I own Cleaver and Co. Quality Meats
00:03 in Gwynnville, Wollongong.
00:05 My wife and I started this business when we were 24.
00:08 Some of the challenges of starting a business
00:12 being so young is dealing with, yeah,
00:15 suppliers and stuff that you're talking to,
00:18 you're coming across a lot of people that are older than you
00:21 and, you know, sort of, maybe they do it better than you.
00:26 Just sort of getting your own wants and needs
00:27 across to those people.
00:30 We also struggled with staffing,
00:32 just finding experienced people that are also
00:36 willing to be told what to do
00:38 by someone quite a bit younger than them.
00:40 Yeah, we also struggled with just the bulk of work,
00:44 you know, opening a small business.
00:46 We knew it was gonna be a lot of work,
00:49 but it was, you know, a lot of work and then some.
