  • last year
Video shows emergency services that locked down a Brussels neighbourhood after two Swedish nationals were shot dead.

Footage filmed in the Schaerbeek neighbourhood - where the suspected gunman was shot - shows the large police presence at the crossroads of Rue De Pavillon and Rue Gallait.

The attack prompted a huge manhunt that led authorities to shoot one person near Pl. Eugène Verboekhoven, according to local reports.

Belgian prosecutors have not yet been able to confirm whether the person shot was the attacker.

Local media have reported that the suspected gunman is in intensive care. Video via SWNS.
