Room for granny flats in Australia’s biggest cities amid housing crisis

A new report has found there are more than 650,000 properties with space for granny flats across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Housing advocates say it could go a long way to easing the accommodation crisis with rental vacancy rate at all-time lows.
