00:00 NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has hinted that the NBA is considering making some changes to the All-Star.
00:06 Good! What do we got?
00:08 Well, they're thinking they might go back to the East vs. West format. What do you think?
00:12 I was excited about something else. Okay, so here's where I'm from. When I was a kid,
00:17 the reason the All-Star game was like Christmas Day to me is because I didn't get to see other
00:25 NBA teams during the season. That was like game of the week on Sunday afternoon, right? Usually the
00:31 Lakers or the Celtics playing or the Knicks playing somebody. And we just heard about these other
00:36 players. Like you would just read their box scores and maybe see a highlight every now and then on
00:40 your local news. But when you saw them in uniform on the same court, like this is like Xanadu. It's
00:46 amazing. Well, now you got a league pass. You can watch your favorite player every game every night.
00:52 So it doesn't have the same appeal and I don't have a better idea. But East vs. West, we've kind
00:56 of done that. We've done what? Euro vs. North America? I don't know what to do, but it feels
01:03 like it's played out. Kind of like baseball. I mean, you know, in the Pro Bowl, the NFL just
01:08 said forget it. We're done with this. So I don't have a great answer, but I know that I'm not
01:14 real excited about East vs. West. But you just got to take it for what it is. It's just like a break.
01:20 It's a chance more for the players to have some fun and we got to just look at it for that. It's
01:25 not about us for a while. It's for them just to chill for a while. So maybe I'll come up with a
01:30 better idea. But maybe shirts and skins. Would that appeal to anybody? Let's go. I'm sure it would.
