The wife of a man killed in a collision in Birmingham has paid tribute to her late husband. Twenty-nine-year-old Madasur Mir from Erdington died after his BMW hit a tree on the Tyburn Road on Sunday. A passenger in the car at the time was also seriously injured.
Two men have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in Wednesbury on Thursday. The incident took place on Kilvert Street at around 2.30pm. West Midlands Police said one man has suffered potentially life-changing injuries following the stabbing.
The opening of the Frankfurt Christmas Market is just around the corner and residents of Birmingham won't have to wait long to have the festive feeling. The market will return to Victoria Square and New Street on Thursday 2nd November and go on until Christmas Eve.
