00:00 Ready?
00:03 Jürgen, so how difficult an afternoon that was?
00:06 Good afternoon. Difficult game.
00:10 Even before the first whistle, it's always like I didn't know 100 per cent
00:17 how we would be ready for that.
00:19 When we had the finishing and the warming-up,
00:23 Dom told me, "I actually never played a derby before."
00:27 "What do you mean?" "Salesburg doesn't have a derby,
00:30 "Leipzig doesn't have a derby, Hungary has maybe a derby,
00:33 "but the countries that would have a derby have never played since I played international football."
00:38 I thought, "OK, good, no problem, you give 100 per cent, so you are ready for the game."
00:45 So you don't know exactly how it is, and I thought, "I like what I saw."
00:52 Besides that we should have finished situations off better,
00:57 they didn't even become chances, but were super situations,
01:02 where we had four-on-four counter-attacks,
01:05 and with the quality we have, we have to play a better last pass.
01:09 That didn't happen, so 0-0, red card, changed the game again.
01:15 Everton were not that deep a block before that,
01:21 but after that they were obviously a really deep block.
01:23 We had to get used to that, it took a little bit too long for my taste,
01:28 but what was really important today was that we didn't get frustrated in the second half
01:34 with the fact that we didn't score already.
01:36 And I thought we did that really well,
01:39 I saw that we were ready just to play to the final whistle, try it,
01:45 and then we scored the first goal, the penalty really well done by Lucho,
01:53 crossing the ball in a 1-2 situation, I think, and still can cross the ball.
02:01 Yeah, and then late, 2-0, game finished.
02:05 There could have been two penalties,
02:07 I've seen the pass and it slid into Lewis Diaz just before that corner.
02:11 I don't know if you've seen that.
02:13 Obviously Everton will point to Ashley Young getting sent off for two yellow cards
02:17 and Kanate not receiving his second yellow,
02:20 what were your thoughts on that, how did you feel at the time?
02:24 To be 100 per cent honest, I didn't see it back then,
02:28 I saw it 100 per cent somewhere else in that moment,
02:34 but then when he's going down and Ibu I knew he had a yellow card,
02:37 so I knew that could be now tricky,
02:39 and then he didn't get the second yellow and I thought,
02:42 "OK, we don't give it a chance and take him off."
02:45 I understand, I can imagine, the frustration of Everton and Sean in this moment, absolutely.
02:55 But that would have been...
03:00 Was it 0-0 still or was it 1-0?
03:03 It was 0-0 still, but 10 v 10.
03:05 I thought we were on the better side, would we have won? I don't know,
03:10 we will never find out, but it's not that I would have thought,
03:13 "OK, now we have no chance to win the game any more."
03:16 100 per cent not. It would have been interesting.
03:19 Would Everton have changed anything or not? We don't know.
03:22 Would they have been a bit more offensive or not?
03:26 So that's all hypothetical, obviously.
03:29 So, 2-0 and we deserve the three points, I think there's no doubt.
03:34 Any more, no?
03:39 Good.
03:41 No more?
03:43 Jürgen, you go back to the top of the league, I just wondered...
03:46 We are not anymore.
03:48 Well, obviously there's a few teams going on, yeah.
03:51 But how important was it to just ask that question after the last two results
03:55 as one of those teams in the Premier League?
03:59 I like to respond on things, but you need to have a reason to respond.
04:03 You should be able to remember the thing you have to respond to,
04:09 and two weeks since Brighton, players were everywhere in the world,
04:14 that makes no sense. I'm not happy that we are back on track or whatever,
04:19 I'm happy we won the game.
04:21 Yeah, 20 points, that's what we wanted and that's what we have now,
04:27 so that's absolutely great.
04:30 Now on Thursday, different competition, super important as well,
04:33 another home game, fantastic.
04:35 And from there we go, that's the situation.
04:39 How I said, where the boys literally are coming from,
04:44 I'm really happy with the performance, really.
04:47 I liked it and I think I didn't hear anything different,
04:50 we came all through without any kind of niggles, super important.
04:54 So, all good.
04:57 Chris.
04:59 Jürgen, you spoke a lot about wanting to sample that,
05:02 but it seems to be showing no signs of slowing down.
05:06 Look, what I love most about Mo is, well, maybe most I love the numbers,
05:13 but what I love the most is that I think Mo Salah played for us
05:18 an incredible amount of fantastic games.
05:21 Today it was not his best game, but being then that cleanly killed in the penalty
05:27 and staying in the situation, that's probably his biggest quality,
05:30 and I love that, because you need somebody who brings the ball over the line,
05:33 and he was that again.
05:35 I couldn't respect that fact more, and that's absolutely outstanding,
05:40 the numbers are crazy.
05:41 He will never stop, that's his nature, and that's really cool for us.
05:47 Thank you.
05:50 Thank you, bye-bye.
