Justin Herbert: A Smart Pick for Chargers QB in Fantasy Football

00:20 and that's the point total that you're hoping to achieve.

00:24 for the chargers QB.
00:26 - Well, as long as Herbert is a little less mistake prone
00:30 in this one, he has an easier path
00:32 because of the price to that 3X value.
00:34 So to me, Herbert makes a lot of sense.
00:36 In fact, Herbert Kelsey is a fascinating way
00:39 to stack this game along with Keenan Allen
00:40 and then pay lower down for some other pieces,
00:43 which we'll get to wide receivers.
00:44 Actually a lot of good value at wide receiver this week,
00:46 which is a good thing.
00:47 We're gonna need that.
00:48 But you could take some dart throws,
00:49 take some shots and some other guys
00:50 like the Michael Wilsons of the world,
00:52 Jackson Smith, the Jigwas of the world.
00:54 Some of these guys even, you know,
00:55 returning players that we haven't seen in a while
00:57 coming off by or injury.
00:58 So there's an opportunity here,
01:00 but Justin Herbert, if this game does indeed
01:02 go over the total, which people are starting to shade
01:05 on the other side of saying,
01:06 that's not gonna live up to the hype.
01:08 That's an opportunity where all of a sudden
01:10 the public is going one way,
01:11 now you can pivot the other way.
01:12 So if you wanna get in on this game and game stack it,
01:15 I think the easiest way is not Mahomes and Kelsey
01:18 necessarily, but it's Herbert, Allen, Kelsey.
01:21 And then you're gonna have to pay down at defense.
01:23 You're gonna have to pay down at wide receiver
01:24 on the other spots.
01:25 But if this game does go off
01:27 and approaches like a 60 point total,
01:29 you're in a good situation, your potential.
01:31 You could even take pieces like Quentin Johnston,
01:33 who's very cheap.
01:34 Maybe Quentin Johnson gets in the end zone,
01:35 has a coming out party this week.
01:37 These are more tournament conversations
01:39 than cash game plays,
01:40 but I think conversations nonetheless.
01:42 And look, I know the Chargers are gonna charge,
01:44 or we talk about it all the time.
01:46 And until they stop doing that,
01:48 well, you know, when they stop doing it,
01:49 we'll stop saying it.
01:50 At the end of the day,
01:51 I think that's what it comes down to.
01:52 So Herbert is in a situation here today
01:54 where you can really let that ball fly.
01:56 He has played well in Kansas City before.
01:57 There's no reason why he can't do that this week.
02:00 So Mahomes and Herbert at the top of the board for a reason.
02:03 And I think being involved at least to some degree
02:05 on this game in multiple lineups is worth it.
02:07 But again, it's not the only thing
02:09 I wanna be involved in for sure.
