00:19 Most Filipinos are like the bamboo, they do not give up on the challenges of life, instead they continue to float.

00:28 The importance of bamboo was taught to 23rd Learn and Earn from Bamboo experts in Carolina Bamboo Garden, Antipolo City

00:36 by the founder of the garden, Carolina G. Jimenez.

00:40 What I will teach is how these bamboos can last for 30 to 40 years.

00:48 Because many complain that their bamboo houses are falling down in less than 5 years.

00:58 But there is a way, so that is what I will teach.

01:02 Some of the 47 bamboo species were shown in the garden.

01:07 There is an actual demonstration of planting bamboo.

01:11 The bamboo treatment process was also discussed, or a way for the life of the bamboo to last.

01:17 It can last a long time compared to bamboo that has not been treated for 3 months.

01:24 Bamboo can be used for any type of building, it can be used for houses, huge event centers and pavilions.

01:31 But in order for it to be used correctly, we need to make sure they are safe and strong and resilient.

01:37 In the lectures, it was taught how to help more people and to multiply the bamboo.

01:44 The participants, including some from the province, were excited about their knowledge about bamboo.

01:54 There is a little land that I can plant, so I am interested.
