00:00 a callous and reckless murder of a 17 year old in Inverel 27 years ago. It feels like
00:06 yesterday for the family and a million dollars is a lot of money and hopefully it incentivises
00:11 someone to come forward and do the right thing.
00:13 When the staff called us home and said he was on our bedroom floor and unresponsive,
00:21 we didn't know what had happened, we had no idea. And he came straight home and only one
00:27 of us had a gun. We didn't know what had happened. We just thought he was dead. We
00:34 saw him on the floor and we rang an ambulance and then Phil thought the safe was wide open
00:37 and then he rang the police and said this is more than just whatever. And then they
00:43 came and it just all happened so fast and then they said he's been shot. We rolled
00:51 up and said he's been shot twice. We had the biggest downpour of rain, biggest downpour
01:08 of rain and it was refreshing and all the girls had white blouses on and they got drenched
01:15 and the priest said this is another one of Billy's little practical jokes. And then
01:33 the biggest clap of thunder came, the biggest clap of thunder. He's around all the time,
01:39 Billy is around.
01:41 So you had that lovely story about your son visiting you as an eagle.
01:47 Billy is always around as an eagle and I'm very lucky with the children we have left
01:53 over, the ones that are all left, wherever they are on holidays I will get a text and
01:59 it will be an eagle and they'll say Mum, Billy's with us today and he'll be flying
02:05 over them or if they're walking on the beach, Billy is with them. He comes very often.
