00:00 A Lamborghini did not forget where this thing comes from, man.
00:03 It's just a ball of fun.
00:05 A little drift, a little drift.
00:07 It's just a wild car, man.
00:13 Hi there.
00:24 Johnny Lieberman, world's luckiest man reporting for duty.
00:28 Turn one of the Nardo handling track inside of the Lamborghini Huracan Strato.
00:35 Now, Strato in Italian means wild road.
00:39 You can think of it like an unclouded field.
00:42 And that's what they've done.
00:43 They've literally built an off-road Huracan.
00:47 Think of it as a rally car.
00:49 It's just great.
00:50 I mean, it really-- I just haven't driven a car that's so rear-biased.
00:55 OK, what's different?
00:57 4.7 centimeters higher, has a 30-millimeter wider track,
01:02 and it's got these crazy-looking balloon tires on it.
01:06 It's drift crazy.
01:08 This thing wants to drift everywhere.
01:10 It's hysterical.
01:11 It's got much softer spring rates.
01:13 It's got a softer suspension.
01:14 It's an easy car to drive sideways, even for someone like me,
01:18 who's not so skilled.
01:21 It's so easy to drive.
01:25 OK, let's go to the dirt track.
01:28 This is crazy.
01:38 Now, the other part of this is it's meant to go off-road,
01:41 so it has a lot of armor plating.
01:43 So they've taken the Huracan Evo, jacked it up in the air a couple of inches,
01:47 and widened the track, and they put on these crazy prototype balloon tires.
01:51 Very high sidewall, and they're designed for not only track use,
01:55 but for driving in the dirt, too.
01:58 It really leans in and oversteers.
02:01 That's its first instinct, case in point.
02:04 It's just a wonderful, wonderful thing to drive.
02:13 Let's try it.
02:16 [engine revving]
02:19 (upbeat music)
