Reaction Rate from the Change of Mass

  • last year
Here is an Erlenmeyer tube. Inside is a hydrochloric acid solution. A cube made of calcium carbonate is inserted into it. A number of gas bubbles can be seen coming from the surface of the cube. From the chemical reaction equation, this gas bubble is carbon dioxide. Thus, the presence of bubbles indicates a chemical reaction process between calcium carbonate and hydrochloric acid. How to calculate the rate of this chemical reaction?
