00:00 I thought Deontay Johnson was huge.
00:01 My thing on Deontay Johnson is last year.
00:04 He didn't really like have help like George Pickens was huge, but George Pickens was still
00:07 coming into his own and the Steelers offense as a whole was only really utilizing him as
00:13 like a deep threat.
00:14 Now that George Pickens is like a star receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Deontay Johnson
00:18 is so dangerous because teams are like, well, what are we going to do here?
00:23 Because you know, Deontay needs to be double teamed, but George Pickens needs to be double
00:26 teamed and you're going to go after George because that's a, you know, George is a catch
00:30 it six yards deep, take it to the house.
00:33 Deontay is a catch it, you know, 13 yards deep and get 20 yards.
00:39 Both of them super efficient.
00:40 You want both of them on your team, but I think that's what, what helps Deontay a lot.
00:44 What were your thoughts on George Pickens and his, his costly penalty?
00:52 The block I thought, and my only issue there is that he's been called for that before this
00:56 season.
00:57 So at some point, you know what I mean?
00:58 Kind of put it away, figure it out.
01:00 But the, the taunting penalty there, he said that the Rams were getting under his skin,
01:04 that they were kind of attacking him.
01:06 I mean, people, people were, were complaining about that on, on social media a lot.
01:10 A lot of people comparing it to DK Metcalf saying this could be a big issue for the Pittsburgh
01:15 Steelers if they don't get it under wraps early.
01:17 Yeah.
01:18 What are your thoughts on that?
01:19 Well, yeah, I mean the, the blindside block, I mean, he hit him in the chest.
01:23 Like he got all the way around on that one.
01:25 I understand why they made that call, but I mean, I think you do make a good point though.
01:29 Like he's, you know, you got to learn at some point and then that block I don't think was
01:33 super necessary to, to that play.
01:36 But like, right.
01:39 But yeah, like I don't really see it as like a longterm issue.
01:43 I mean, it's something that they got to talk to him about and make sure that he's not doing
01:46 week to week.
01:47 But I don't think George has really shown that that's a part of his game, you know,
01:51 that's not, or a part of his personality that he's going to go out every week and have these
01:56 emotional issues, you know, going after guys on the field.
02:00 It was, it was an emotional game and yeah, he shouldn't have gotten that penalty, but
02:05 I don't know.
02:06 I don't think he's, he's shown that it's a, it's a longterm issue.
02:11 Yeah.
02:12 Yeah.
02:13 You don't want it to happen, but not exactly worried about George, you know, shooting this
02:17 team in the foot consistently.
