01:06 Ladies and gentlemen,

01:08 I am here to introduce you to the chain of Tariqat.

01:13 Allah the Almighty has commanded His Beloved in the Holy Quran,

01:17 Surah Furqan-e-Hameed, Verse 1-2

01:20 to address His Beloved.

01:25 I have recited the Holy Verse before you.

01:29 First, let's listen to its introduction and background.

01:34 Some of the leaders of the Quraish,

01:37 the polytheists of Mecca,

01:40 the enemies of Islam,

01:43 sent a message to the Prophet (pbuh)

01:48 saying, "We want to sit with you and listen to you,

01:58 but it is an insult to sit with the people in your assembly."

02:04 God forbid.

02:05 They said, "The status does not match.

02:08 It is an insult to sit with them."

02:11 The poor and needy people who sit in your assembly,

02:18 the students of your Madrasa,

02:21 Hazrat Abu Huraira, Hazrat Abu Dharghaifari,

02:26 Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood,

02:29 Hazrat Abu Musa Ashari, Hazrat Suhaib Rumi,

02:32 Hazrat Musa bin Umair, Hazrat Ammar bin Yasir,

02:36 Hazrat Salman Farsi, Hazrat Bilal Habshi,

02:40 Ridwanullah Ta'ala alaihi wa jamahin.

02:43 They said, "If you take them away,

02:47 maybe we will come to you and listen to you

02:51 and maybe we will become your followers."

02:53 This was the message they sent.

02:57 The Prophet (pbuh) did not give any answer yet.

03:01 Allah sent Gabriel the Eminent One with this verse of Surah Kahf, verse 15.

03:09 The message came from the Lord.

03:12 "And be patient with those who call upon their Lord

03:17 in the morning and in the evening."

03:20 O' Beloved, keep yourself with those people

03:25 who remember Allah in the morning and in the evening.

03:29 "And be patient with those who call upon their Lord

03:34 in the morning and in the evening."

03:36 Those who call upon Allah.

03:38 "They desire not any other purpose,

03:41 nor any other desire,

03:47 nor any other desire,

03:51 they desire only Allah's pleasure."

03:58 These companions, Ridwanullah Ta'ala alaihi wa jamahin,

04:01 the companions of the Prophet's (pbuh) Madrasa,

04:05 their sincerity and their sincerity of intention

04:09 was witnessed from the heavens.

04:11 Allah said, "O' Beloved, keep yourself with these people.

04:16 Do not look at them."

04:20 Allah said, "We do not want the leadership of Abu Jahl,

04:25 we want the loyalty of Abu Bakr.

04:28 We do not want the beauty of Abu Lahab,

04:32 we want the love of Bilal al-Habshi."

04:37 O' Beloved, this sentence,

04:39 "They desire not any other purpose,

04:42 nor any other desire,

04:46 they call upon Allah in the morning and in the evening,

04:49 and they desire only Allah's pleasure."

04:52 This is called Tazkiyah, this is called Sufism.

04:57 When one attains such sincerity,

05:02 such intention, such determination,

05:06 when one desires Allah's pleasure,

05:09 when one is not attached to any other,

05:13 when one is not attached to any other,

05:15 when one is only for Allah,

05:17 when one is only for Allah,

05:19 when one calls upon Allah,

05:22 one is only for Allah's pleasure.

05:24 When one bows down before Allah,

05:26 one is only for Allah's pleasure.

05:28 The Sufis, the Auliya-e-Izam, and the Pakis

05:33 had such a strong attitude and attitude

05:37 that they used to say that

05:39 the worship of Allah is not even for the sake of heaven.

05:43 They do not do it for the greed of heaven

05:45 nor for the fear of hell.

05:47 There is a famous saying

05:49 which was quoted by Huzoor,

05:51 Data Ganj Baksh,

05:53 in Kashf-ul-Mahjoob Sharif,

05:55 by Hazrat Rabia Basriya (R.A)

06:00 She used to say,

06:02 "O Allah, I worship You,

06:06 and if I am in heaven, I will not be deprived of it.

06:10 And if I worship You,

06:12 I will not be deprived of the fear of hell.

06:14 And if I worship You,

06:17 for the sake of the Holy Qur'an,

06:19 I will not be deprived of seeing it."

06:23 She used to say,

06:25 "O Allah, if Rabia does this

06:27 for the greed of heaven,

06:31 then do not let me go near heaven.

06:33 And if she does it for the fear of hell,

06:36 then do make me her slave.

06:38 And if Rabia worships You

06:43 only for Your pleasure,

06:45 for Your seeing,

06:48 and You know that she does it only for this,

06:51 then do not deprive me of seeing it."

06:55 This is what is meant by "Yureeduna Wajha"

06:58 This is called "Ikhlas Finniya"

07:00 This is called "Lillahiyyat"

07:02 This is called "Tazkiya" and "Tasawwuf"

07:06 And the fundamental purpose of "Salasal-e-Tariqat"

07:11 was to create this spirit in the servants of Allah.

07:16 To create this passion.

07:18 In those "Salasal-e-Tariqat"

07:20 there is a famous series,

07:22 "Silsila-e-Aaliyah Sohruwardiyah"

07:26 "Silsila-e-Aaliyah Sohruwardiyah"

07:30 It is introduced like this,

07:32 and the first founder of this series is

07:36 Sheikh Ziauddin Abu Najeeb Sohruwardi.

07:42 He is the first to have laid the foundation for this series.

07:47 He laid the foundation for this in Baghdad.

07:50 Sheikh Ziauddin Abu Najeeb Sohruwardi.

07:54 And this,

07:56 Hazrat Imam Ghazali,

07:59 Imam Muhammad Ghazali is very famous.

08:02 His brother was Ahmad Ghazali.

08:06 Sheikh Ziauddin Abu Najeeb Sohruwardi

08:10 was the disciple of Imam Ghazali's brother, Ahmad Ghazali.

08:15 And Jamia Nizamiyah,

08:17 which was the famous religious university of Baghdad,

08:22 which is known and recognized by Huzoor (R.A)

08:31 In Jamia Nizamiyah,

08:33 he was the teacher of Shafi'i jurisprudence.

08:37 He was a great teacher.

08:40 So the first founder of this series is

08:43 Sheikh Ziauddin Abu Najeeb Sohruwardi.

08:47 But, Sheikh Shihabuddin Omar Abu Hafs Sohruwardi,

08:57 who is the second founder of this series,

09:01 he is the one who introduced this series to the world.

09:06 And it is well known.

09:08 And till now,

09:10 our public, common man,

09:12 has been saying that

09:14 Sheikh Shihabuddin Sohruwardi is the founder of Sohruwardi.

09:19 So, it is obvious that he became famous.

09:22 He took this series to the next level.

09:26 He spread his teachings.

09:28 He made it systematic.

09:32 He made it so organized

09:34 that it is known and recognized by him.

09:39 According to Ibn Khulqan,

09:46 Sheikh Shihabuddin Sohruwardi

09:49 was associated with

09:51 the 16th generation of

09:53 Sayyidina Siddique Akbar (R.A)

09:56 According to Ibn Khulqan,

09:58 Sheikh Shihabuddin Sohruwardi was associated with

10:01 the 16th generation of

10:03 Sayyidina Siddique Akbar (R.A)

10:06 and the 16th generation of

10:09 Sayyidina Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A)

10:11 This means that

10:13 he was a descendant of Siddique.

10:15 He was the son of Abu Bakr Siddique (R.A)

10:19 So, you can say that

10:21 the way the series of saints became a symbol

10:24 was associated with Abu Bakr Siddique (R.A)

10:28 So, this is also a sign of the Tajdar-e-Sadaqat.

10:32 He was born in the city of Zanjan in 535 Hijri.

10:39 The series of saints in India,

10:44 in the subcontinent of India,

10:48 came after the series of saints in Chishti.

10:56 Sheikh Shihabuddin Sohruwardi's training,

11:03 education and development in this line

11:09 was done by his uncle and his teacher,

11:13 the first founder of this series,

11:16 Sheikh Abu Najib Sohruwardi.

11:20 He trained him.

11:23 Another interesting thing is that

11:26 Sheikh Shihabuddin Sohruwardi,

11:29 was a teacher in Jamia Nizamiyya Baghdad,

11:33 a teacher of Shafi'i Fiqh.

11:37 Now, the Jamia Nizamiyya Baghdad is mentioned

11:41 that Sayyidina Ghose-e-Azam Piran-e-Peer Dastagheer

11:45 Rahimahullah is not mentioned.

11:48 How is this possible?

11:49 So, the question will arise

11:51 that is Sheikh Shihabuddin Sohruwardi

11:54 a follower of the Talammuz or a Bai'at?

11:58 Is he a follower of Piran-e-Peer or not?

12:02 Historians have said that

12:04 Sayyidina Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani

12:07 was not a Bai'at follower

12:10 but his childhood was like

12:14 the way Ghose-e-Azam Piran-e-Peer.

12:22 He was under the shadow of Ghose-e-Azam Piran-e-Peer.

12:26 Ghose-e-Azam Piran-e-Peer's special

12:28 intentions and blessings

12:30 were on him.

12:33 Because this is about every believer

12:36 that "Taqoo Firasatal Momin"

12:38 "Fa Innahu Ya'nzuru Binoorillah"

12:41 "Taqoo Firasat" and Ghose-e-Azam is Ghose-e-Azam.

12:45 He is Piran-e-Peer.

12:47 So, they were watching

12:49 what this child would do

12:51 when he grows up.

12:53 That is why when you used to meet him

12:56 in your childhood,

12:57 Sayyidina Sheikh Shihabuddin Sohruwardi,

12:59 Ghose-e-Azam would pay special attention

13:03 and look at him with special attention.

13:06 And I think

13:09 that this is the faith of all of us

13:12 that all the Salah-e-Tariqat,

13:14 there is the Faizan of the

13:15 Silsila-e-Aaliyah Qadriyah in it.

13:18 And Huzoor, Ghose-e-Azam Piran-e-Peer,

13:21 because he is Piran-e-Peer,

13:24 Ghose-e-Azam Dastagheer is Piran-e-Peer,

13:27 Pir-o-Ke-Peer,

13:28 all of them are Pir-o-Ke-Peer.

13:30 So, the effect and the perfection

13:33 of his Faizan and his gaze

13:36 was seen in the life of

13:39 Sayyidina Sheikh Shihabuddin Sohruwardi

13:40 and in his teachings.

13:43 That is why Allah the Almighty

13:45 has taken such a great task from him.

13:48 Then, after Sayyidina Sheikh Shihabuddin Sohruwardi,

13:53 especially in this area,

13:57 there is a personality,

14:00 who is known to all the children

14:03 living in the subcontinent of India,

14:05 Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Islam Khawaja Bahauddin Zakariya Multani

14:09 Rahmatullah-e-Ta'ala.

14:12 He was the personality

14:14 who was searching for the perfect Murshid

14:17 for a long time.

14:20 And then from here,

14:22 from Ajam, he reached towards Arab.

14:25 He went towards Sohruwardi

14:27 in search of the perfect Murshid.

14:30 While searching, finally,

14:32 the one who was accepted by my Lord,

14:35 he found Gohar-e-Murad

14:37 and he reached the court of Sheikh Sohruwardi.

14:41 And Sheikh Shihabuddin Sohruwardi

14:43 also recognized him as soon as he came.

14:46 That the person who came to me,

14:48 he did not come,

14:50 he was sent.

14:51 And he was sent for a great purpose.

14:54 So, he accepted him

14:56 and after getting him to stay for only 3 weeks,

15:01 he was granted the Kharka-e-Khilafat,

15:04 he was granted permission,

15:06 and he was given his deputy back

15:08 in this same region of India.

15:10 And Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Islam Khawaja Bahauddin Zakariya Multani

15:13 Rahmatullah-e-Ta'ala,

15:14 came and did so much work for this,

15:17 that in the whole of India and Sindh,

15:20 he has established such a big business,

15:24 that today in the number of lakhs,

15:27 people are attached to this

15:29 Aaliyah-e-Sohruwardi.
