00:04 It's been three months since we've opened.
00:07 I'm Chef Arjun.
00:08 I'm the head chef here.
00:10 So I basically come from Bangalore.
00:14 My roots are from Mangalore, so the coastal thing is in my blood.
00:18 So we have my history is like basically my family was into the hotel line.
00:26 So I always had an inclination towards this.
00:30 I did my business management, but then again got back into this.
00:36 So I trained at the Leela Palace, Bangalore, where I trained on the industry stalwarts
00:42 in the coastal cuisine.
00:44 So this is my strength.
00:46 Basically we serve coastal Indian authentic food here at Mahe Coastal.
00:52 So we have a lot of seafood that is predominant in our menu.
00:57 We have our favorites such as the soft shell crab, the sea bass which is wrapped in a banana

01:04 We have the alopee prawn curry, which is a very authentic curry from Kerala, which is

01:12 So these are a few of our favorite dishes that are here.
01:17 We also serve a lamb stew and a veg stew.
01:20 We serve a South Indian version of the korma, which is again a crowd favorite.
01:26 So this is about a few of the things that you get at Mahe.
01:29 We have just opened our lunch menu a week ago.
01:33 So we are serving dosas.
01:36 So basically you have different varieties of dosas.
01:38 You have masala dosa, plain dosa, butter dosa, ghee dosa, onion dosas, keema dosa, you name

01:46 We also have this thing called kothu paratha, which I haven't seen the restaurants here

01:55 It's basically Indian flatbread that is minced along with a spicy sauce, along with meat.
02:04 And for the vegetarians, we have vegetables.
02:06 So that's a special that you need to come and try.

02:13 We have a chicken curry that can be paired along with your parathas, that can be paired
