00:00 We all know NASCAR fans are passionate about racing, but they're also passionate about giving back to their community, our NASCAR community.
00:09 Each year, the NASCAR Foundation celebrates four passionate NASCAR fans who are true champions for children,
00:16 serving as dedicated volunteers for children's causes important to them.
00:21 These fans are celebrated as finalists for the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award,
00:26 created in honor of the NASCAR Foundation's founder, the late Betty Jane France.
00:31 This year's four finalists are Darla Crown, volunteer for Youth and Family Services from Rapid City, South Dakota.
00:38 That's what it means to me, is to know that I made a difference in a child growing up,
00:45 becoming a leader in the community, and being able to give back.
00:49 Jennifer Gage, founder of Gigi's Playhouse Phoenix from Phoenix, Arizona.
00:55 Having a daughter with Down syndrome, it means that we're changing the world.
01:00 And we're changing the world one child at a time.
01:04 Molly Moran, volunteer for Comfort Zone Camp from Walpole, Massachusetts.
01:09 The power it has to change a kid, and just one weekend for this kid to know they're not alone,
01:15 and there are people out there that feel the same way, and there are people there to support them.
01:20 And Sandra Stanley, volunteer for City of Refuge from Ringgold, Georgia.
01:26 What do I get out of it? The love. The love for these little kids. That's what I get out of it.
01:33 When those little kids hug you, that's priceless. Just priceless.
01:39 All four have done tremendous work, and we are proud to have them as finalists for the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award.
01:45 But only one can take home the $100,000 donation from the NASCAR Foundation to further their efforts to help children.
