01:32 Itinerary in hand, we set off to explore the city.
01:38 Starting in La Jolla.
01:40 The seven mile stretch of coastal serenity
01:42 offers good vibes and an endless host of activities.
01:45 But what we really came for was the water.

02:12 - But after a little encouragement,
02:14 we were soon on the ocean.

02:27 Fueled from our ocean adventure,
02:30 we stopped for a quick bite
02:32 before strapping on our hiking shoes
02:34 to tackle one of San Diego's famous hiking trails.

02:42 With nearly 120 trails across San Diego County,
02:48 catering to any hiker,
02:49 you really haven't seen San Diego
02:51 until you've seen it by foot.

03:12 - Well worn from the incredible hike,
03:18 we decided to rest up for the evening
03:20 at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar.
03:23 This Mediterranean estate sits amongst the rolling hills
03:25 of the Carmel Valley,
03:27 providing luxury services and world-class accommodation
03:30 to travelers looking for a treat like ourselves.

04:01 we grabbed coffees to go
04:03 and were ready for another exciting adventure.

04:17 - We rented bikes and began exploring Liberty Station.
04:24 This former naval training station
04:26 is now a center for history, arts, and casual dining,
04:29 and we just loved getting lost in its streets.
04:32 - But I decided to give Logan a break
04:36 and bring him somewhere more his speed.
04:44 - Logan, are you still awake over there?
04:48 - Barely awake.
04:48 - Detoxed and ready to rock,
04:53 we headed downtown to the Embarcadero
04:55 and San Diego's famous Seaport Village.
04:58 This lively waterfront destination
05:02 offers up incredible views of the city
05:04 and is host to a number of vibrant boutiques,
05:07 a true window shopper's dream.

05:10 - Pretty.
05:11 - This one's so cute.

05:16 - We could've stayed here for hours,
05:20 but I had another stop in mind.
05:21 At 48 square blocks, San Diego's Little Italy
05:26 is the largest in the US,
05:28 filled with art galleries, shops, hotels,
05:30 and of course, some of the best food in town.

06:24 I think San Diego is built for the type of couples
06:34 that are into exploring, and how they can become
06:36 closer with activities, food, adventure.
06:42 San Diego, it's where our love story began.
06:46 I have so many incredible memories here,
06:48 like through my 20s, now up into my 30s,
06:53 from single life to date nights with him.
06:57 - I think it just brings love.
07:00 For us, it's the aspect of love, our relationship,
07:03 nurturing it, continuing to grow our relationship.
