00:00 We were lucky enough that Bunnings asked us if we'd like to come to our adoption day and
00:10 have our sausage sizzle too.
00:11 But yeah, we wanted to be able to get some homes for our puppies because we've had probably
00:15 31 puppies come through this year, which is a lot.
00:18 It is a lot more than we normally have.
00:20 So to be able to get people in the area to come and see us, and there's so many people
00:24 that don't actually know we exist, even though we've been going since, what, 2015.
00:30 So to be able to get some more supporters, find some more homes for these lovely animals
00:34 that need homes, and yeah, that's why we thought we'd come, you know.
00:40 And you mentioned that you guys are trying to do a bit of fundraising.
00:44 Yes we are.
00:45 Oh, totally.
00:46 Our vehicle unfortunately died, same as one of our dear residents, poor little Georgie.
00:54 So yeah, it was a bit heartbreaking having that happen on the same day.
00:57 So yes, we're raising funds to get a vehicle so we can carry on doing our work.
01:01 Because at the moment I'm relying on foster carers and neighbours and friends to transport
01:06 me to the vets and places to pick up supplies.
01:10 And sometimes you need to go and collect dogs from people because they don't have transport
01:15 and they need to surrender their dog.
