00:00 Here in Metro Manila, there were no unforeseen incidents of violence in the barangay and SK Elections.

00:06 We got an update from Patrick Delsuz live. Patrick.

00:10 Dominic, the number of election-related incidents reported by the Philippine National Police in the barangay and SK Elections increased.

00:25 From the command center of the Philippine National Police in Camp Krame, body cameras of the police wearing police uniforms

00:31 deployed in the polling places for the 2023 barangay and SK Elections are monitored.

00:37 The PNP is closely monitoring the situation in the elections in various parts of the country.

00:42 The PNP reported 31 election-related incidents, the most in the Bangsamoro region.

00:48 In the vote buying, 17 incidents were reported by the PNP. There were four incidents that the PNP reported,

00:55 where classrooms were burned in schools in BARM, Region 10 and Region 5.

01:00 But the fire did not stop in the so-called places.

01:05 These are all being investigated and the other one is just for rewiring. It's a place for electoral exercise. We have no connection there.

01:20 The most serious is the ones that burned. We are removing it from the incidents.

01:28 PNP Chief Police General Benjamin Acorda Jr. visited several schools in Quezon City, including P. Bernardo High School in Barangay Bagong Lipuna ng Krame,

01:38 where he voted. According to Acorda, all voting places were able to cast their votes.

01:44 We did not receive any reports. We received reports that there were hassles, like there were reports that the police blocked,

01:56 and all these things were resolved.

01:58 DILG Secretary Benjur Avalos led the inspection of the command center in QCPD.

02:05 More than 700 CCTV cameras can be seen in the entire Quezon City and 70 body cameras were worn by the police.

02:12 In Metro Manila, no violence was recorded.

02:16 We have not recorded violent incidents, election-related incidents. We have recorded, but it's proactive, like the contraband.

02:34 We have recorded both buying and selling, as well as the implementation of lead or ban, and as well as the implementation of power canton.

02:47 Avalos said he was content with the preparations made by all the government agencies.

02:54 Remember, this deployment is not just for today. It's been several weeks and the police did not do anything.

03:04 So right now, you can see that there are many bullies. Why? Because there are many new laws that the public is being violated.

04:13 Based on the latest PNP report, there were 35 election-related incidents while the number of vote-buying increased to 11.
